Shoyo and the rest of his classmates were planning on having a cafe for their classroom-hosting event.

Basically.

Freshmen are having a cafe.

Sophomores are doing horror because of Nishinoya and Tanaka and some boys want some funny pictures from their customers.

Juniors will be doing a play about Jack and Rose.

The titanic. Having Rose as Sugawara and Jack as Daichi makes Kuroo the bad guy because his eyes are just annoying said Yaku-san.

Yaku-san will be the violinist of the sinking band.

And then the huge ice as Bokuto and Ushijima...

Seniors are doing nothing.

Yes.

Nothing.

As a reward for them for having great scores in their mock exams.

And for their rest day as well as they have been doing these things for 3 years.

The ginger was walking around the academy's garden as he is finding a place where Soren will reveal himself to speak with him.

He found an empty spot hidden behind some trees and bushes.

He went there and squats down as he then takes out the whistle and blows it.

Soren revealed himself out of nowhere as he becomes a small little bird.

He flew and landed in front of the ginger.

"Apply for the duel."

The bird chirped as he looks at the ginger.

"But I don't know any sword fighting skills though... How can I win this?..."

Shoyo said as he sighs in worry.

"I can teach you the things you've taught me before... And I'm sure you will remember again..."

The bird insisted as he flew above the ginger's head, sitting down on his shoulder.

The tangerine thought about it as he knows that this could be a puzzle to reconnect back to his Godly self.

He smiles as he looks at the bird beside him.

"Alright. I'm gonna do it... Make sure to teach me well, okay!"

The bird scoffed as he responds with an arrogant expression.

"I am the best sword fighter in the whole realm in the heavens and the land."

Shoyo stifles a laugh as he completely remembers that the bird told him before that he was the one teaching him, and not the other way around.

"But you are the omnipotent being... So that makes you the best of all... There's no debate on that."

The bird admitted as he looks away from the tangerine's teasing stare.

Shoyo laughs as he agrees with his answer.

He must be godly with his skills in fighting as well.

Because he IS A GOD after all.

Soren then bids goodbye as he has things to do in the realm above.

Shoyo nodded as he also needs to get back to class to tell his professor for joining the duel.

The two separated and went their ways.

Shoyo came back to his class, seeing his classmates planning for what to serve for their cafe.

He went straight to prof. Ukai is just sitting idly on his chair reading a book.

"Excuse me, sir?"

The ginger asked as the man looks at him.

"Yes?"

Ukai responded as he waits for his answer.

"I would like to apply for the duel..."

The man's eyes widens as he heard what the student had requested.

He leans forward on his desk as he thinks about whether to let the boy join or not.

Not because he is not trusted but because anyone can die in this duel if it was intentional.

Especially if this Hinata Shoyo joins.

When he just got warned by the high priest himself.

'What are you trying to do?...'

Ukai thought before sighing in defeat.

Fortunately, he wasn't the only one who applied for the duel for their class.

"Sign your name here..."

The man said as he pass a paper with some familiar names on the list already.

Shoyo reads the names of the participants for the duel.

Kageyama Tobio
Goshiki Tsutomu
Yutaro Kindaichi
Inuka

And lastly.

Hinata Shoyo

The ginger wrote down his name on the paper as the 5th participant in the duel.

He's not surprised seeing Kageyama's name as he is known for being competitive.

And the same goes for Goshiki as well.

He knows the rest as he had conversations with them.

And all of them are in volleyball as well.

Before walking away he asks his teacher about the participants on the list.

"Do all 5 of us compete? Or only a chosen freshman shall compete."

He asked as the older man looks at him again.

"All 5 of you won't be joining the preparation for the hosting events in the first two days of the week as you all will be training and dueling each other on who is the best for the competition."

Ukai simply said as he looks at the other 4 participants as they all saw the small ginger sign his name on the list.

One of the boys stared at the ginger with so much hostility as he hates having more competitors.

Ukai sighs as he looks back at the gullible tangerine in front of him.

"I'm not underestimating you but... Are you sure you want to compete?..."

Shoyo knew he was only worried about his student as he knows he was small and a bit frail.

But knowing who he truly is.

He shall declare in front of the high priests who will rule the realm.

The tangerine smiles.

"Don't worry, sir! I will do my best!"

Ukai sighs as he smiles back as well.

"Then you better not get hurt... We don't want to pay any insurance while dueling."

Shoyo laughed at his joke and bowed politely before walking out of the class to begin his training.

"Soren... I think this was a grave mistake... I should quit-"

"Stop whining you, little wuss! In the past, YOU have trained me worst than THIS!"

"I'm... SORRY! CAN I JUST BACK OUT?"

"NO!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH-"

"PICK UP THE PLASTIC SWORD DAMN IT! IT'S EASY!"

"FU-"

*Whack!*
