Chapter 4. GGO

Kirito POV

I spawned into the game looking around. I brought my hands in front of me looking at them hair fell into my view and I quickly went to go touch my hair and noticed it was long. I rushed to try and find a mirror "Holy crap!" I sorta shouted.

I looked like a female I checked myself out sighing "Holy thats the F-1300 model! That avatar is so rare! I want it! I'll give you 2 megabands for your account come on, lady!" I man behind me shouted.

"Lady?" I said then panicked quickly touching my chest sighing in relief to feel nothing there "Sorry to break it to you but..I am a dude too." I said but he quickly got closer.

"Then that means you got the M-9000 Model! I'll give you 4 no! 5 for it come on sell it to me!" He said and I sighed. "Sorry, but this isn't a default avatar. It's a converted one. I can't exchange it for cash." I said and he backed up.

"That sucks if you ever change your mind I am first to bid!" He shouted as I quickly walked away. As I was walking I quickly noticed I was lost I got weird looks but ignored it. I seen 2 girls one with blue hair and another with H/c hair. I quickly rushed to the two girls.

"Hey! Can any of you tell me where.." I quickly stopped noticing the two girls staring at me 'They think I'm hitting on them..' .

Y/N POV

"Hmm Yea what?" I asked the female infront of me and Sinon. Sinon looked her up and down and said "You're first time in the game, huh?" she asked. "I..um-" She stuttered.

I smiled at her "Where do you wanna go?" I asked the girl. She started at us for a while before speaking she put her hand on her cheek "Yes, It's my first time. I'm looking for a place to buy a cheap gun. Oh! And I also need to find out where the governor's office is." She finally said pointing away from her face.

"Oh. Sure! We can show you." Sinon said as we walked to the stairs that bring us towards the gun shop. "By the way why do you wanna go to the office?" I asked and she stood silent for a while and responded.

"Uh, I wanted to sign up for an event called bullet of bullets." She said as we got to the top taking a pause.

"B.O.B?! Okay, But you just started today right?" She gave a nod "Yea.. I don't know your stats may not be high enough for that." I said to her and kept walking Sinon and the girl folowing.

"Oh. I converted so I should have some of my stats from another game." She said. I looked at her 'She looks and feels familiar..'

Time skip to the challenge.

"Hey! You're crazy if you think you'll win that!" Sinon shouted at the girl who was going to enter the challenge. I giggled "You got this if I can do it anyone can!" I shouted clapping. I was the only one who had beat this challenge before when I joined the game almost lost but got my money's worth.

I heard people chattering saying how she'll fail but I cheered her on. She seemed pretty fast and she dodged the first set. "You got this!" I cheered clapping.

She kept dodging thebullets and I stopped clapping admiring her "She is quick don't you think G/N?" Sinon asked me and I nodded quickly.

She then past the 10 meter mark and kept dodging me and Sinon got closer and looked at her in admeration. "That was amazing!" we both shouted. And she looked at us and laughed. "Yea I guess I just predicted the preditions.." She said and My eyes widened.

"What!?" I shouted "It took me like 10 tries for that and you just did it in your first go you're so cool!" I said and she just sweat dropped. We went back to the gun shop showing her guns.

We passed by the laser which was a sword type weapon which drawed her attention. "Oh, cool you can use a sword here!" She said going to buy it which I grabbed her hand stopping her.

"Yea..If you want but no one uses them because you can't use it unless you're close but you can't get that close without getting shot a bunch but you have to be quick and it's good to have a secondary weapon. My friend here uses it but rarely because she can never get too close unless in a party so she goes with a quick gun or sniper." Sinon explained to him pointing at me.

She ignored Sinon and quickly went to purchase it. "I guess people have their prefrences.." I said giving a half smile.

"The way I see it, If this place sells something it must be okay for battle." Which she said. Which she does make a fair point.

She turned on the sword taking a stance.. I stiffened a little. "She looked like she knows what shes doing." Sinon said to me. 'That stance.. It kinda looks like.. Nah it can't be no way she has a female avatar.' I thought.

She swung the sword and me and Sinon clapped "Not bad!" Sinon said. "I know a couple of moves it sure is light though." The girls said trying to put the sword on her back. I glared at her but brushed it off smiling at the girl.

We finished shopping buying her a gun for her back up weapon. The girl started thanking us  and I smiled. "it's no problem it killed some time before the prelimes anyway!" I said to her.

"Wait. You two are competing?" She asked and we both nodded.

"Yea we were on our way to sign up before.. Holy crap G/n Look at the time!" Sinon said catching my attention.

"We are never gonna make it now!" I said the girl spoke up "G/n..? Ah wait I am so sorry cause of me we're late!." I shook my head ignoring her calling my name and started running.

"No time to chat lets go!" I said. I felt somone grab my hand and I grabbed Sinons. "Thats it!" The girl said.

"H-Hey!" I said she threw me on a bike and I helped Sinon on. She started driving quickly and I panicked. "Wait stop let me off!" I yelled 'Even in a virtual MMO I can't be on a motorcycle it scares me too much especially a strangers!' I thought grabbing her waist as tight as I can.

"Sorry! Hold on we will make it." She said tears slowly came to my eyes and I just couldn't look.

"This is one of the most hardest things to drive how can you just drive it!" I heard Sinon say I still had my face burried in the girls back.

"Uh I played a lot of racing games!" She shouted at Sinon. "You two okay?" She asked and Sinon laughed "Of course the faster the better punch it!" Sinon said and I whimpered.

"Get me off.." I muttered.
