Chapter 13. One step

Y/n POV

"What the hell get off me! Fucking bastard it's all your fault she's mine! Stay away from her!" Giichi screamed he had one hand wrapped around Kiritos neck and the other was ready to punch. I quickly remembered that he had the drug with him and panicked. 

He punched him multiple times and he got the drug out of his pocket causing me to shout "Kazuto!" I got up but it was too late.

He had pushed in the drug into his chest. I grabbed the music box that was in the dining room and bashed it into his head causing him to pass out. I ran to Kazuto. "Hang out! Please you can't die not like this." I said he grunted in pain.

I quickly unzipped his sweater lifting up his shirt seeing a black patch and the clear liquid on top of it. I used my sleeve to wipe it off and I sighed in relief putting my hand on his chest feeling for heart beat.

"Hey..Whats this on your chest?" I asked shakly. He looked down at his chest and sighed.

"Please tell me thats where he hit me. It's an electro from the heart monitor I was hooked up to." I quickly nodded and he smiled. 

"You know you scared the hell out of me." He huffed my eyes slighly widen.

"I scared you?! How do you think I feel?! I thought you were gonna die! You dumbass!" I shouted grabbing his shirt. He pulled me in for a hug patting my head. He lifted my face by my chin wiping my cheeks and giving me a soft kiss.

He then glanced at Giichi "He's not dead is he?" I slowly crawled over to him feeling his pulse. I shook my head and sat back with Kazuto.

"He was always so kinda to me and Kaita I don't know what came over him..But thank you for coming when you did." I mumbled tears forming in my eyes again. 

"No thank you for hitting him when you did." He pulled me into his chest hugging me as I cried.

Time skip.

Me and Kirito were outside of Sinons school many girls gathered and began to whisper. "Looks like you're popular!" I said smiling he sighed.

"Eh all the attention would be nice but I dislike it" I giggled grabbing his hand. I then heard people asking if Kazuto was Sinons boyfriend. I rolled my eyes do the girl not see us standing real close?

She walked out to us and pouted. "Really when I said I'd meet you guys I didn't mean park yourself infront of my school." She said with a hint of red dusting her cheeks.

"What's up Sinon!" I said smilng and she rolled her eyes making me laugh.

Time skip to a cafe.

'Giichi and the other death gun were arrested during the interagation it came out there was a 3rd. He's still out there but Kikuoka asured us they'd catch him soon.' 

A server came by with a whole bunch of cakes me and Sinon declined but Kikuoka insisted so we each grabbed something. Kikuoka went on and explained how they made everything possible. How the main death gun was apart of SAO and how he wanted to continue his trend with murdering.

"Dark side of vrmmo thats what it is..His reality got a lot less real." Kirito said and I nodded.

"Yea and How are you two handling yours?" He asked me and Kirito. Sinon perked up and looked at both of us. I sighed.

"Feels like a huge part of me was left in SAO and theres less of me here right now. I dunno" I mumbled and Kazuto agreed. 

"You don't know? Do you wanna go back?" Kikuoka ask making me look at him in surprised.

"Seriously? How could you ask us that? We spent 2 years in that hell hole I wouldn't wanna go back." Kazuto laughed.

"Well.." They all paused and looked at me. I notice the staring and look away out the window in embaressment.

"My answer always changes sometimes I want to sometimes I don't if I think about it if the game allowed me to log out and not get me killed when I die in game..I'm gonna be honest I'd go back. But thats me talking crazy because I was trapped for 2 years straight and I got used to it." I shrugged. They were all silent making me sigh. 

Sinon then broke the silence "Wait a sec. You two are kinda contradicting what you said the other day. You guys said there is no such thing as a virtual world, remember. Like wherever you were thats your reality.This word is my reality. Even if you told me it was a virtual word it'll still be my reality.".

I glance at Kirito to see he was thinking about it. "I guess, Yea you're right gotta hand it to you, what you said just now might be the only good thing that comes out of this nightmare." He smirked.

She quickly smacked his arm "Put a sock in it!". he rolled his eyes and I looked at Kikuoka watching him check his watch which is probably a signal its time to go.

"Well I've told you everything. Any questions?" He asked. 

"I do..What's gonna happen to Giichi?" I asked making Sinon and Kazuto look at me in surprise.

"Maybe I'm crazy for wanting to know but..I've know him for so long..He was always so kind I'm just not sure what happened. Maybe he had given up on this reality and wanted to get stronger.." I whispered Kikuoka gave me a small smile.

"As of right now cause of the confessions the two have given they will be set out to a mental hospital." He said getting up. Kazuto grabbed my hand under the table and I sighed. 

He pulled out a folded up letter " By the way Y/n, Kirito Death gun or Shoichi Shinkawa or Red eyed xaxa. Whatever you want to call him left you guys this, would you like to read it if not say the words and I'll tear it up" He said.

Kazuto looked at me and I nodded. "We'll hear it." We both said.

He unfolded the letter and began reading it "If you think this is over, it's not. You don't have what it takes to end this..Soon or later you'll realize that it's showtime. And that pretty girlfriend of yours should watch out." I sighed and Kazuto squeezed my hand.

Time skip to Agil shop

My brother had picked me up from the cafe and gave me a little talk before he dropped me off at Agil's. He was very stressed with the combanation of work and having to change the house locks to more secured ones and just everything going on. "Hey, Be safe." I nodded giving him a hug before walking to Agils shop.  

"Hey Y/n!" Lis shouted she was already sitting down and I smiled joining her. After waiting about half an hour Kazuto and Sinon arrived.

"Well it's about time you made us wait so long, I went and had two slices of apple pie! If I get Fat it's all your fault!" Lisbeth shouted making me giggle.

Kazuto furrowed his brows "How is that my fault? Jeez." He sighed walking in. Lisbeth glared at him waiting for him to introduce her.

"Well..This is Shino Asada, AKA Sinon Gun gale online 3rd superchamp." He said smiling. She bowed but then hit the back of his head.

"Don't say that." I giggled. 

He then clears his throat "These are my friends from my time in SAO, Rika aka, Lis Blacksmith and Swindler.." Her eyes widened. 

She got up "What the hell did you just call me!" walking up to him trying to punch him but he just moved and she fell face flat groaning in pain.

"And as you know that's Y/n the Berserk healer in ALO, Real name you already know Y/n L/n." He said winking. 

I sweatdropped "Eh, Berserk." I said and he looked away making me sigh.

Lis got up smirking "Crazy how you friendzoned your girlfriend in front of another girl!" She said making me pause.

"Well she already knows!" He said defending her making Sinon giggle.

"He's right G/n is my friend I found out when we all met in GGO." She said and I smiled nodding.

This chapter was a little messy sorry! I did skip the part where she meets the girl from the shooting just got lazy to write it but it did happen for the sake of the story!
