Chapter 14. Queen of the lake

Y/n POV

"Hey were you up late again?" Sugu asked Kazuto. I had stayed over last night because my brother is on yet another trip til new year so Sugu had offered me a place to stay in for the meantime and I happily took the offer.

"Yeah, For a mechatronics Project for school." He sighed watching the news.

"Mecha- what? Sounds fun. Anyway have you two seen this yet?" She asked pointing her tablet towards us Kazuto's eyes quickly widen quickly setting his cup down and grabbing the tablet. I leaned in towards him also reading.

"What the?!" he said in shock.

"The holy sword excalibur has been found in A.L.O?!" We both said together making Sugu giggle. 

"Aw, Man that sucks I can't believe someone beat us to it." He slumped in his chair. 

I shook my head pointing to the tablet "Read more down here, It says it's been found. Not actually taken." I pointed out and he quickly kept reading.

Kazuto POV

'A couple of months ago on the arun plains, Leafa, Y/n, Yui and me got swallowed by this bigass monster worm. It dropped us in an underground realm. Called Jotunheim. We came across two different races one was this four-armed humanoid monster, and it was fighting another monster that was a cross of a jellyfish and Elaphant. Of course Y/n and Leafa felt bad for the jelly-phant thing. They cried at me to go save it so I gave in luring the four armed monster onto a frozen lake then the jelly-phant took care of it. Leafa and Y/n agreed to call it Tonky. It suddenly transformed into a weired looking thing with wings. We all hopped on its back, and it took us to a passageway leading to the surface world and thats when we say it. A long golden sword shimmering inside Excalibur. Y/n took the same intrest into it as I did and we both agreed I'd let her use it for any fight she desires but i'd offically own it.'

Breaking out of my thoughts I began to mumble "I was planning on going back someday, but now I'm not sure." 

"It'd be a nice break from the floor clearing we've been doing in Aincrad." Y/n commented. 

I nodded furrowing my brows in confusion "It doesn't say anything about how they found it. They can't fly. But thats the only way to see Excalibur, it's too high up." 

"Unless they rescued one of Tonky's friends! Possibly hitched a ride and triggered the quest." Y/n smiled picking up her glass about to drink her tea.

"I guess, But who'd trust a creepy-" I was cut off by the two girls giving me a glare cutting me off.

I pause myself "Uh,  I mean who'd trust such a unique monster unless they had weird ta-" I quickly shut myself up earning a low growl from both girls. 

"I mean a weirdly big heart! Just like you girls." They both glared at me.

"He's not creepy! He's adorable. ANYWAY! The whole point of me showing you guys was to get you guys going, Only a matter of time someone else snatches it." Sugu sighed and Y/n nodded.

"We should go for it! We'd need 7 others though we don't wanna overload poor Tonky." Y/n Suggested and I nodded.

"For starters, we have, You, Me, and Suga, then theres Klein, Lis and Silica..We need one more." I sighed.

"I know Sinon!" Sugu suggested and I agreed. 

"I'll message them right now!" Sugu said in excitement.

Time skip to in game. Y/n POV

After a bit of talking Lis had come back from the back. "Alrighty your weapons are all restored and ready for action!" She cheered handing us each a weapons.
