Chapter 6. Showdown

Kirito POV

"Answer the question, or do you not understand?" He said and I was shaking but answered "No I don't what do you mean by real deal..?" I said.

"Nevermind weather you are a fake or the real guy someday I'll kill you" He said steam coming out of his mask as he walks past me. I walk slowly to the seat panting putting my head in the hands putting my hands in a fist grabbing some hair. I couldn't control my breaking eyes still wide panting and sweating.

'Laughing coffin the emblem. It has to be the murder guild in sao god only knows how many players they killed in their time.. But they weren't the only ones guilty of murder.'

Flash back 3rd person

A group of guilds were gathered together getting ready to ambush the laughing coffins base. A boy dressed in all black was along side a girl with H/c hair and also dressed in back were in the back waiting for the que to charge in.

They all then stopped an a man began to speak "If the things we heard are true the laughing coffins base shouldn't be too far up ahead. But before anyone charges in keep in mind that the group are all red players once the battle starts they will just got for the kill without a 2nd thought so DONT hesitate if you do..your dead. We do have things that they don't higher skill level and more people. So maybe they'll surrender.. Hell a guy can dream." the man finished.

Laughter was heard but the two in the back weren't having it.."It really isn't funny..But Kirito let's watch each others back yea?" The girl said.

"Of course you and me, be careful out there." Kirito responded to her. Before they knew it a group of members jumped down interupting them.

Many grunts were heard and the sound of swords hitting each other filled the room. A member went straight for Kirito he knocked the man off of him.

Y/n was being attacked and she gasped as she was knocked back. She quickly ran up to the man stabbing him multiple times making sure not to kill the man she kicked him to the ground running to help others.

The group was not giving in another charged at Y/n and she panicked getting slashed in the shoulder she yelped in pain. And Kirito went running towards her slicing the man in half. She thanked him and healed up.

A man with white hair was panting his HP was in the red so that if he was attacked one more time he'd be gone but he wasn't giving in. He simply laughed and killed 3 people with no hesitation.

The couples eyes widened looking around watching 3 men disapear. Dragging of a sword was heard and Y/n went to go help out other teamates while Kirito was battling the man.

Kirito had knocked him off and sliced through him. The army had won the battle.. But in the end 20 members of the laughing coffin didn't give in and died and 10 of the army guys died.

Kirito POV

'It was a nightmare fighting laughing coffin 20 members were killed out of that 20.. I had killed 2 thats guys he has to be one of the survivors from the guild we must have talked at some point.. or maybe he's one of the two I killed. No way thats not possible it's crazy.. Oh my god his voice was the same as death guns was that him could he be..' I was shaking violently staring at the ground lost in thought.

Y/N POV

I finally finished up my match and I seen Kirito sitting down I waved at him but got no response I got closer and he was shaking "Kirito?" I called out and no comment. I poked his shoulder and he let out a gasp quickly turning to me giving me a look of worry.

"Hey..You look like you're gonna lose it are you okay?" I said with worry in my voice.

"No..I'm okay." he said sighing leaning back. I go to grab his hand but Sinons voice was heard.

"Wow if you're like this after one match you'll never make it you have to man up!" She said to him crossing her arms and I shook my head at her. "Hey be nice.." I said.

"Stay with him please I'm gonna go change don't let him leave your side please Sinon." I said serious and she tilted her head and nodded. I go to walk away but he grabs me. "Hey.." I said I looked at him and my eyes widened. His eyes were wide and he was sweating shaking. "Your not okay whats wrong please Kiri-" I was cut off when I seen him glow and disapear. I grab my chest looking down worried.

"He'll be okay G/n don't worry." She said hugging me and I sighed shaking my head. "I really hope so.. He doesn't look okay." I was then teleported into my match and I looked around "Please be okay.." I whisper to myself and start to run.

Time skip to Sinon and Kirito Duel.

I watch on the big screen to see Sinon holding her sniper. Kirito was just walking normally. "What is he doing.." I see Sinon pull the trigger but..She misses. 'No way..He's standing still.' I thought something is off she shoots multiple times but misses them all and I stare in confusion. I look to where Sinon is and she runs towards Kirito.

Sadly I cannot hear her and but she looks like shes shouting. I see Sinon starts to tear up and Kirito looks down and shuts his eyes tightly then opens them and starts to talk. I watch as he speaks with her and I see that she backs up they don't look too far maybe around 15 meters? Hard to tell. I stare in confusion knowing that Sinons bullet would be faster.

He smirks and flicks the bullet as soon as it hits the ground she shoots at his legs and I gasp as I see him bring his sword to his leg slicing the bullet she gasps and tries to reload and Kirito runs at her. Holding her at the waist they were pretty close too close..

They begin to talk and I cross my arms. I see Sinon start to tear up. Kirito starts to talk to her. He puts away his sword pulling her closer. I bring my hands to my side and clench my fist.

She grabs his cheek and brings her face closer going for his cheek and kisses it. She then turns red and backs up I see her surender and I grab my chest and look away from the screens starting to walk.

'Sinon..Why? If you knew he was mine why would you do that infront of everyone..I thought we were friends. Why am I so upset? He doesnt even know her it didn't mean anything but why did he pull her closer..' I think tears pricking my eyes "Damnit screw it all He's with me but why would he pull her closer.."
