Maddox left, and I looked at Demitri and Luca, then touched my neck. Angry bastard. I was going to bruise from that for sure.

"Theo, are you ok?" Demitri asked, coming closer.

"Oh sure, I'm perfectly fine, pretty used to being tossed around like a rag doll or I was."

"I was worried he was actually going to injure you. You both are relentless. You verbally attacked him and he did what he did."

"I believe what you're trying to say is he choked me, Demitri." I yelled, getting angry again.

"Yes. He did choke you, Theo."

"Why do I feel like with that tone of voice there's a but coming?"

"There is a but coming, Theo, and you won't like my words, but in this situation, you are also to blame. He has to shoulder more blame, because he got violent, but you have blame too."

I tuned Demitri out, not even interested in listening to him anymore. I just wanted what happened to be done and over with. I had enough of people putting their hands on me. Regardless of who, even if some of what Demitri was saying was slightly true. I knew more than anyone about Maddox's anger issues.

Demitri frowned when he realized I wasn't listening anymore.

"Theo. We should talk about what Maddox said, about you coming to the club to cause—"

"No thanks. Maddox flapped off about shit he had no right to." I hissed.

"I get that, but we need to talk about it."

"If you get it, Demitri, then why the fuck are you pushing it? Keep it up and the cousin you think I am so much like, I might take a page out of his book and get violent."

"I don't think threatening me is a good idea, Theo. Not when I heard what Maddox said, and I can easily fill Luca in on it, too. Since it involves—-"

"Here, let me fucking help you Demitri! Luca, Demitri wants you to know what he heard from Maddox about how his husband and I made plans for me to go to the club and make you both jealous so I could have your attention, since you both just walked out. And news flash, I don't care anymore. That blond, I would have gone home with him. Sure, I might feel like shit today, but fuck, I wouldn't be here explaining myself to two men that fucked me and left without so much of a thanks. But you know what? It's cool. I get it."

"Theo, we didn't just fuck and leave—-"

"Yes, you fucking did. You didn't even have the courtesy to wake me up and have lunch with me like I asked. I got a shitty fucking note. Oh boy, that made me feel real fucking good." I yelled, pissed off about everything.

"That's not—" Luca started.

"Oh, shut the fuck up! I don't want to fucking hear it. You left once you had what you wanted. Then you went back to doing what you both wanted."

Demitri walked to his bag, pulled out a brown folder, set it on the table and whipped a set of keys at me.

"Here, a fucking gift for you. But remember, we were doing what the fuck we wanted."

I grabbed the envelope and opened it. The deed to my house was on the inside.

"While Luca and I were doing whatever the fuck we wanted, as you said, we were working overtime to save your fucking house. You wanted it so bad! Maddox knew too, but we asked him to not say anything. He paid us in advance for all the work so that we could purchase the house from your ex before it was sold to someone else. But that's right, we just left you, because sex was all we fucking wanted." Demitri said, bitterly.
