______________________Brie and Stiles watched in both amazement and a bit of confusion as Allison and her father began preparing weapons for them to use against Ms. Blake.
"I though you guys retired," Stiles said, clearly confused.
"Retired, yes. Defenceless, no," Mr. Argent replied. "Now, make sure your phone's on. If either of you hear from Scott, you let us know immediately."
Stiles took out his phone, just to make sure Scott hasn't texted him since the last time he checked. "Yeah, I'm thinking that's gonna be kind of unlikely," he said, realising Scott hasn't said anything.
"You guys, try to remember he's just doing what he thinks is right," Mr. Argent said, after seeing their disappointed faces.
Suddenly, much to their surprise, Issac showed up at the door. "I can't shoot a gun or use a crossbow, but.. Well, I'm getting pretty good with these."
He stretched out his hand and let his claws extend. Without realising what she was going, Brie immediately raised her hand, and shot a small flame of fire directly at Issac.
Issac jumped back, thankfully, letting his claws disappear as he dodged the unintentional attack.
Brie jumped back with shock. "Oh, my God, I'm so sorry," she apologised, placing a hand over her mouth. "That wasn't me, I swear. It's the demon juice. I think it just reacts with danger."
"Yeah, maybe it's best that you don't come with us to fight," Issac laughed awkwardly.
Brie nodded awkwardly. "Well," she quickly changed the subject. "It seems we all have things to do so we are just going to," she grabbed Stiles by the arm and led him out the door. "Bye! Sorry!"
She walked quickly down the hall with Stiles following her, laughing. "Did you mean to-?"
"Obviously not!" she told him, turning around and giving him a serious look. "The sooner we find Deaton the better but first... Lydia."

"I don't believe it."
Stiles and Brie went straight to Lydia's house to explain everything that had happened.
"Scott can't really be with them," she went on. "He can't be."
"Believe me, I didn't want to believe it at first either," Brie said, sitting down on the chair beside her.
"You didn't see the look on his face. It was..." Stiles said, not even able to finish his sentence.
"Then what can I do?" Lydia asked. "I mean, I get that I'm some kind of, like, human Geiger counter for death. But I don't know how to turn it on and off yet. All I know is that she tried to kill me because of.." she stopped, cutting herself off, seeming to remember something.
"Because of what?" Stiles asked after him and Brie shared a look.
Lydia didn't respond at first, so Brie spoke. "Hey, Lyds, what is it?"
"What she called me a Banshee," Lydia finally said. "She was surprised by it. What if that's not why she tried to kill me?"
"Then why did she?" Stiles asked.
"That's what we need to find out."
"Why are we the ones always figuring everything out?" Brie groaned.
"Because we are clearly the only ones who have the brains to actually figure things out," Stiles joked, trying to lighten the mood. Brie noticed how tense he still seemed. He seemed to have given up hope already.
