Agent McCall brought Stiles into a nearby empty classroom with Brie following closely behind, refusing to leave him for even a moment.

McCall sat down in front of the two teens. "Stiles, why am I getting the feeling you know something that could help us find your dad?"

"If I did why would I not tell you?" Stiles asked.

"Yeah, if you actually used your brain and thought for a moment, it would be stupid for him not to tell you," Brie added.

"I don't even know why your here," McCall said, turning to the blonde.

"He stays, I stay," Brie shrugged. "We come in a pair."

"Two for the price of one," Stiles agreed.

"Whatever," McCall went on, deciding not to press it further. "If it meant finding your dad, why wouldn't you tell us?"

"So you're asking me to tell you what I wouldn't not tell you?" Stiles said. Brie had to stop and process what he had just said for a moment.

"First, I have no idea what you just said," McCall said. "Second, how about you just help me help you?"

"Well, I don't know how to help you help me tell you something that would help you if I don't know it," Stiles said, confusing the man even more.

"Are you doing this on purpose?"

"We don't know anything," Brie said. "Can we go?"

"Where are your other friends?" McCall asked, obviously not letting either leave.

"How do you know we even have friends?" Brie asked. "We could be loners and this could be a sensitive subject for us."

"I mean Scott," McCall sighed. "I mean Issac Lahey, Allison Argent, these twins Ethan and Aiden. I've been told your whole little clique didn't show up to school today."

"Not true," Brie mumbled. "Lydia was here."

"We don't have a clique," Stiles answered.

"Stiles, come on," McCall said, getting annoyed with the two. "There's been a pretty disturbing amount of violent activity in this county in the last few months. Several murders tied to this school. I don't know what's going on here, but it's serious. And..." He noticed Stiles looking out the window, not paying full attention. "Hey. You dad is missing."

"So why are you wasting your time talking to us," Brie asked. "You should be looking for him."

"Fine," McCall got up, knowing he wasn't going to get anything else out of them. "But, I don't want either of you going home alone. You have someone you could stay with tonight?"

"Yeah, me," Brie said. "He's staying at my house."

"As far as I'm aware your mother isn't home so I don't want you going home alone tonight either," McCall turned to the girl.

A unexpected voice came from the doorway. "They're with me."

The three looked up and saw Deaton standing at the door, ready to claim the pair.

Brie celebrated on the inside and both her and Stiles immediately got up to go with him without another word to McCall.

"Thanks, Deaton," Brie said as they got into his car together. "I'm sure your aware of recent events?"

"Mostly," Deaton replied. "I know Scott gone with Deucalion and you have been given a nasty dose of Demon Grace."

"Can you help her?" Stiles asked hopefully.
