thirty three
_____________________________One they declared that they were far enough away, Scott got off his motorcycle while Brie, Issac and Allison got out of Allison's car. They were going to meet with Deucalion.
"You okay?" Allison asked Scott once they got out of the car.
"I couldn't come up with anything," he replied. "But what you did, that was awesome."
"I still haven't gotten anything from Stiles. You?" Issac said, looking up from his phone.
At those words, Brie took out her own phone to see if he had texted her back. She sighed when she realised he hadn't, starting to worry slightly.
"I don't get it," Scott replied.
"All right," Issac said, turning away. "Well, we can't wait for him. Come on."
Allison followed quickly behind him but Brie didn't. She could never leave Stiles.
"Something doesn't feel right," Brie told Scott." You go with them, I'll find Stiles."
"Okay," Scott nodded, knowing there was no convincing her otherwise. "Make sure he's okay."
Brie turned away, letting her wings come out form her back and flying straight up into the sky. She loved when she had the chance to fly without anyone noticing her. She took a moment to look around the sky once she reached higher then the trees.
She noticed a storm coming from a certain area but it was too foggy to see where it was coming from. She quickly flew over the trees, using her super sight to search in each dark area, listening out for her boyfriend.
She felt the air blow through her hair as she fought against the strong winds. She never liked to take advantage of her abilities but it wouldn't be fair if she had no practice with it at all.
She found herself going deeper into the fog, having to avoid the lightning that came crashing down from the sky.
The wind was strong but she managed to power through it. She didn't know how long she was looking but just out of the corner of her eye she noticed a light coming from beside a tree.
She swooped down, landing beside it gracefully and recognising what the light was coming from. It was a blue jeep.
She ran up to it, opening the door and seeing Stile slaying there with blood coming out of his forehead.
"Stiles! Oh, my God!"
She took off her jumper and began to clean some of the blood away, trying to wake him.
"Please don't be dead," she begged, shaking him slightly. "Stiles!"
She kept shaking him, begging him to wake up. "Wake up! I need you, please!"
Finally she slapped him across the face, not being too rough but apparently, it was enough. He let out a gasp, finally coming to his senses.
"Oh, thank God!" she let out a breath she didn't even realise she was holding, pulling him in for a hug. "What happened?"
"The storm was too strong, I couldn't see," he answered, looking around. "I must've crashed into a tree. Did you just slap me?" He raised his hand to rub his cheek where she just slapped him.
"You weren't waking up! I panicked," she defended.
"You you not maybe, I don't know, use your super powers?"
Brie paused. That would've been a good idea. "At least your awake now, okay? Come on, let's go find the parents."
Without any other word, they got out of the car, ready to run to the Nemeton.
