Chapter 6 Requests

After dinner is over, I find my phone ringing, it is saying that the name is Anonymous, so I decided to answer the call. "Hello? Who is this?"

"This is Ash correct? And I assume that Lillie is also here?" The voice says.

"Wait, who are you and how did you even get my phone number?" I ask.

"I hacked your smartphone so I could talk to you. Hope you don't mind." The voice says.

"A hacker? That's dangerous." Drandon gasps.

"Why would a hacker want to find you? That sounds fishy..." Reisa says.

"I bet they are those who want to take your money..." Luke says.

"Calm down, guys. So what do you want with us?" Lillie asks.

"My name is Cassiopeia. But never mind that, and if you have friends with you then they better listen to this as well. I hear that you're trainers with serious potential. If that description is accurate, there's something I'd like to ask of you."

"What is it?" I ask.

"Tell me, Ash and Lillie... You know about Team Star, right?" Cassiopeia asks.

"We know." I say. "Weren't they the guys who've been causing trouble to the school? We did encounter two of them trying to harass a girl."

"Team Star is a group of troublemakers formed by some academy students a while back... They cause headaches for the school and try to bring other students down to their level. And I refuse to sit idly by and let them get away with it! So I've come up with a plan to bring down Team Star and force them to disband for good."

"What?" All five of us exclaim in surprise.

"I call it... Operation Starfall! But I'll need allies to carry out this operation... and I'd like you to be one of them."

We all look at each other, and I say, "So what do we need to do?"

"We'll discuss the details some other time. Until then, I'll leave you to it." Then the anonymous person just ends the call, and then we hear a voice.

"Ah, Master Ash." We flinch as the director is now standing in front of us.

"D-director?" Drandon gulps and the others are doing the same thing.

"Please do try to keep your voice down if you're making calls within the school, won't you?" Clavell asks.

"Of course, sir." I reply.

"After all, you don't want anyone else overhearing any personal information. Honestly... There are so many things we need to be careful about in this day and age. On you go, then, young man."

We all bow at the director before leaving, and then Clavell mutters, "Team Star, you say...?"

After leaving the dining hall, Reisa asks, "Do you think the director heard all of it? I mean the Team Star thing?"

"Maybe he did..." Lillie says. "By the way, we should find Nemona in the staff room so we can get our dorm keys and number."

"You're right. Let's go find her." I say as the five of us walk into the staff room, and we see Nemona talking to a woman with a black outfit.

"Very well, Champion Nemona. I trust you to handle this in my stead." The woman says.

"Sure thing! You can count on me. In fact, I bet this is gonna be fun!" Nemona replies.

"I'm glad to hear it. Good day, then." As the woman leaves, she notices us and says, "Oh, pardon me."

She thinks that she knows me, maybe because I'm the World Monarch, but after she leaves, Nemona rushes to us and says, "Oh, Ash and Lillie! Hey! I see that Drandon, Reisa, and Luke are here as well!"
