Chapter 54 Sword of Ruin

Now it is Monday, and before we get to class, we decide to go on another hunt for the Treasure of Ruins. Now that we have access to South Area Province 6, the seven of us are searching for the stakes.

"If I remember, your flight is today, right?" I ask Dawn, who says, "Yeah, but I don't mind helping you guys find some sort of Legendary Pokemon, it is actually fun."

"Well, you do realize that the Legendary Pokemon we're looking for is quite dangerous." Lillie says. "They are also known as the Treasure of Ruins, they can create disasters."

"But I wonder what kind of Legendary Pokemon we're having today." Reisa says. "And where all of the 8 stakes are."

"Just hope that they're not in a ridiculous position, but even if that happens, we have Pokemon to help us." Nemona says.

"True." I smile.

And first, we're going to find the stakes, this time we're looking for orange stakes. The first one, which is located at the West Province Area 1, is south of the watchtower. The second stake, which is located at the West Province Area 1, is tucked away in a corner of an area to the west of the Pokémon League building.

The third stake, which is located at West Province Area 1, is in a hole in the ground that we can jump into from above. The fourth stake, which is located at Cascarafa, is hidden behind the tree behind the gym.

The fifth stake, which is located at West Province Area 1, is on an elevated cliff south of the Pokémon Center. The sixth stake, which is located at South Province Area 6, is on a small cliff ledge to the east of Alfornada.

The seventh stake, which is located in South Province Area 2, is on a cliff that oversees Cortondo. And finally, the last stake, which is located in South Province Area 6, is in a tunnel underground, which can be accessed easily by the beach to the west.

After pulling out the last stake, we decide to head to the Shrine, which is located at the cliff side of West Province Area 1. Nemona says, "There is no sight of Team Rocket nearby."

"Good... now let's open the gate and make sure that we're prepared." I say as I touch the gate.

And just then, the ground is shaking, and when the gate opens, a giant white leopard appears with two broken swords coming out as teeth. It gives out a roar and suddenly, the whole area becomes snowy.

"What the... it is an Ice Type now?" Nemona asks.

"Good thing I have brought some jackets." I say as we quickly put them on.

Arceus says, "This is Chien-Pao. The Sword of Ruin. It is a Dark and Ice Type."

I say, "Chien-Pao... the Sword of Ruin... that means Fighting Type will be better."

Then we all send out our Pokemon, I use Hawlucha, Lillie uses Revavroom, Nemona uses Orthworm, Drandon uses Talonflame, Reisa uses Quaquaval, Luke uses Klawf, and Dawn uses Lopunny to battle the Pokemon in front of us.

Chien-Pao growls and suddenly, all of our Pokemon get our Defense stats weakened. I say, "That's the ability: Sword of Ruin! The power of the Pokémon's ruinous sword lowers the Defense stats of all Pokémon except itself."

"That means it is not good for us! It probably has a lot of Physical attacks!" Lillie says.

And Chien Pao goes for the Sacred Sword, slashing Lopunny and Orthworm. "Lopunny!" "Orthworm! Hang in there!"

I say, "Hawlucha! Karate Chop!"

"Talonflame! Fire Blast!"

Both of us yell at the same time as we attack the Pokemon, it is super effective, but it goes for the Recover to recover its health.
