After celebrating, the next day, we're heading to Arven's Lab so we can meet Professor Sada and Professor Turo. Arven is already waiting for us there, we're glad that he's patient with us because we're preparing for the exams.
"I see you did come." Arven sighs. "Well, this is the lab. I used to come here to play all the time when I was a kid. There'd better be a good reason for calling us here like this..."
Arven opens the door and says, "Everyone always says... they're some kinda geniuses. Absolutely brilliant as Pokemon Professors. My parents, that is. But let me tell you - as parents? They're the worst. All they ever do is work. They never come home. I don't have a single memory of them ever even playing with me - their own kid. Mabosstiff's the only one who was there for me. Always."
Now all six of us are angry at Professor Sada and Turo, they sound even worse than Lillie's parents. When we step inside, I ask, "Arven, you're not coming in?"
"I just want to get this over with!" Arven says as reluctantly comes in with us.
Inside, we notice a lot of books and devices. But the room is also dark. Just then, the screen turns on randomly and both Professor Sada and Turo are on it.
"We need your help." Sada says.
"Help with what?" Lillie asks, still disappointed at them for leaving their child like that.
"We are currently at the deepest point of Area Zero, in the Great Crater of Paldea." Professor Turo says.
"Wait, what?" We are shocked as we already heard from Professor Raifort about how dangerous that place is.
"We have been researching the unique Pokemon here for a very long time." Professor Sada says. "We're asking all of you to lend a hand - to help carry out the final step of the great Professor Sada and Turo's glorious research."
Wait, why are they referring to themselves as the third point of view? Arven asks, "The final step...?"
"But there is something we need first. Something that can be found withint that lab." Professor Turo says. "What we need... is the Scarvio Book."
"Wait... do you mean THIS book?" Arven asks while taking out the book.
"Ah. So you took it from the lab, did you, Arven?" Professor Sada asks. "That expedites things. Bring the Scarvio Book to the deepest depths of Area Zero. We promise that it will be an experience worth treasuring if you come."
"I must note, however, that Area Zero is both home to vicious Pokemon and outfitted with powerful cybernetic security systems." Professor Turo says. "It seems to me that you might struggle if the three of you were to enter alone. You may take the time to gather some reliable allies before you come if you feel the need. We'll be awaiting you in the deepest part of Area Zero, whenever you arrive."
"If you think you three are going alone, think again." Drandon says after the Professors end their call.
"Yeah, I want to see what Area Zero looks like as well." Reisa says.
"Me too." Luke says.
"Area Zero... That place is bad news." Arven says. "It was down in Area Zero that Mabosstiff got wounded in the first place... Down in the Great Crater of Paldea. In honesty, I'd be perfectly happy to never see that place again... Are you gonna go?"
"Of course, we're going to go! Don't you want to see your mother and father in person?" Lillie asks.
"I suppose they did ask..." Arven sighs. "And I can't just stand by and watch while a friend heads off into danger on their own. So I guess I'm going, too! 'Sides, I'd love to give my parents a piece of my mind."
