When we decide to continue to move further down, Arven asks, "What're your parents like, Nemona?"
"My parents? Normal, I guess." Nemona says.
"Are you serious? Even I know about your dad. He's on the board of the Rotom Phone company!" Penny says.
"Wait, how do you know that?!" Nemona asks with surprise. Well, she only did tell the five of us because we're friends, but not Penny because they barely met before this adventure.
"Seriously? Everyone knows that. He's famous." Luke says.
"And I guess I looked into him for my own reasons, too." Penny sighs.
"So Nemona's actually some pampered little princess from a rich family?" Arven asks.
"Ugh! No! No way! That's so not my thing. Maybe for Reisa or Lillie, but not me." Nemona blushes.
"Just because my father is the famous Top Coordinator doesn't mean I want to be a pampered princess." Reisa says.
"Same here." Lillie says. "And if anything, Ash is the real prince."
I sigh, "Really? I know I'm some sort of Royal family from the Rota Kingdom, but I also want to be normal as well."
"Sure... your life is not actually normal." Drandon says.
"Though, yeah. I guess you could say Mother and Father were, like... hands-off but in a good way?" Nemona asks. "My big sister'll probably take over the business, so they pretty much let me do what I wanted."
"Wait, you call them 'Mother' and 'Father'?!" Arven asks.
"That is some pampered little princess stuff right there." Penny says.
"Gaaah! Callate, Penny! What, is your family super normal, then?" Nemona blushes and yells.
"My...my family is... unbelievably annoying..." Penny mutters.
"Like super overprotective, you mean?" I ask.
"It's just my dad! He's loud and clingy and makes up weird nicknames for me, like "Pen-pen." He's the most annoying guy in the world! Period! He's the worst!" Penny says.
"Man, that's a real downer...for your dad. Having his own daughter describe him like that..." Arven says.
"Don't you dare take his side!" Penny yells.
"By the way, Drandon, how about your parents?" Nemona asks.
"Um... I rather not talk about it..." Drandon mutters.
I remember the last time I went to the Dragon Village with Iris and Cilan, Iris' friend Shanon told us that her parents passed away when she was little, and she has Dragons to accompany her.
"I can actually feel you, Penny." Lillie says. "I definitely do not like my mother doing the same thing to me."
"Oh yeah, I still remember you got into a fight with your mother because you don't want her Clefairy to evolve." I chuckle, as Lillie playfully smacks me on the back.
"Meanie..." Lillie pouts.
"What about your mother, Ash?" Arven asks.
"His mother seems super nice." Nemona says.
"You met her?" Arven asks Nemona.
"Yup! Also got a glimpse of an amazing-looking sandwich she made, too!" Reisa says.
Yeah, I remember there is one time my mother used my kitchen to make some sandwiches for us to eat.
"Really? Wish I could've seen that. I bet it tasted great..." Arven says.
