35. HOME

LISA'S POV

"Baby Out! 2:15 pm! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Manoban!" The doctor said while I was in the corner taking a video of my baby girl. Tears fell when I heard my baby cried. She looked like a little Leo, girl version. Yes, she looks like me to be exact. I then rushed to Jennie's side. "You did it hun! I am so proud of you! Thank you for giving birth to our Lily!" I kissed her head and she smiled weakly. Yep, we decided to name her Lily when we found out we were having a girl.

After the night I proposed to Jennie and the news of her being pregnant, we decided not to delay the wedding anymore and we decided to fly back to Korea after 3 days and had our wedding 2 weeks after. Then we went back in Texas a month after. Jin also had found a new girlfriend, Kylie, who was one of the veterinarians in their clinic. Kylie was a nice lady who also loves Ella as if she was her own. Jennie's parents also liked her and even wanted them to get married soon. It was a relief for both Jennie and me that Ella will have a complete family.

After few hours in the delivery room and recovery room, Jennie was finally transferred in the ward. Our family was there. Our parents, Jin and his family and ofcourse Leo, who was very excited that he jumped from his grandfather's arm when he saw Jennie being wheeled to the room. "Mommy! Are you okay now? Where's the baby?" Jennie smiled and kissed his head. "I'm okay baby. Your sister will be here soon." Just in time, there was a knock on the door before it opens revealing the nurse that was carrying the baby. She then gave the baby to Jennie instructing her about the feeding and burping before going out of the room. Jennie handed me the baby. "The privilege of carrying first is yours hun." I can't help my tears feeling overwhelmed carrying my baby for the first. "Oh gosh. So this is how it feels." I looked at Jennie who was smiling at me while her tears are also brimming. "Thank you Jennie. For everything. From forgiving me to giving me a chance. And now for giving me kids – for giving me family. I love you so much." Then I went to kiss her head. "You deserve this Lisa." Then I felt a tug on my shirt, "Dada! Can I hold Lily now? Please?" He asked excitedly. "Alright. Sit with mommy and I'll let you hold him." He immediately went up to Jennie's bed and kissed his mom before holding out his arms. I put the tiny baby in his arms while Jennie was supporting him. "Hello Lily! I'm your brother Leo. I'll protect you until we grow old okay? So you have to listen to me." Leo said while we laugh at his introduction. He then looked at Ella and told her to come. "Look Lily! She's your older sister Ella. You have to be nice like her." The baby smiled that amazed the two kids. "Hello Lily! You like me? I'm your big sister!" Ella said happily while touching Lily's little hands. Everyone took turn to hold the baby. After several hours, they all went home. Jennie's parents brought Leo with them since they are staying in our house for now. I let Jennie rest and enjoy my time watching how this tiny little human being is perfectly crafted.

5 Years Later.

"Dada, Lily kissed Jason!" Leo told me grumpily. "Then, why are you mad? You know Jason is your cousin right?" Jason is Jisoo and Roseanne's son. He's the same age Lily and is studying in the same preschool with Lily. "She's not allowed. Okay? I don't allow it!" This 10 year old boy acted like an adult. I saw Jennie walking from the kitchen while bring snacks. She laughed silently at how strict this boy is. "Leo, you always kiss Ella when you were the same age as Lily. Don't make it a big deal." Jennie said while handing him a cookie. "Mom, it's different! I did not know that Ella was just my cousin. I thought she was my real sister. Moreover, she looks so much like you!" Oh yeah, Leo just realized that Ella was not his real sister when we started to live in our own house. "Alright bud. I'll talk to her okay? Why don't you come here and help me feed your brothers." Yes, he has brothers, when Ella turned 4, we found out that Jennie was pregnant again. This time, it's twins – Lucas and Liam who looked like little Jennies but boys version. "Why do they need help? You can just give them the cookies and they will munch it. Boys need to learn on their own." Jennie and I looked at each other and secretly laughed inside our heads. When the twins were born, Ella was on the stage of playing with her baby dolls so she always wanted to help Jennie taking care of the two. I guess Leo felt that his sister favors the twins more so he was not very fond of them. "Leo, I want more cookies please?" Lily suddenly went to hug him with puppy eyes. Lily knows her brother could never say no to her, so her first option to ask for anything is Leo. "Alright baby. Do you want some milk?" Lily nodded and Leo stood up to get a milk from the fridge. Lily had him wrapped around her finger. Jennie suddenly laughed while holding Liam. "Oh my God Lisa. Leo is your clone! You found your match! A little Lisa." She said laughing again. "Lisa!" Liam said and laughed along with Jennie while Lucas also laughed hearing them. I just smiled while looking at them laugh. Then I heard footsteps which belongs to Leo and Lily which I haven't realized that the little girl followed Leo. "Alright, what's funny out here?" Leo asked looking at Jennie. I know he must have heard her say he was my mini version. "Yeah, what's funny mommy? I want to laugh too." Lily also asked. Jennie said "Ask your dada." Lily then looked at me and said, "Come on! Tell us Lisa!" We all got shocked at how she addressed me. She put her hands on hips while raising one eyebrow just like how Jennie does when she's curios. "Lisa!" Liam said again. "Lisa!" This time, it was Lucas and both of them laughed that made us all laugh too. "So, your all going to call me Lisa? Okay no more ice cream from now on!" I said trying to sound angry. "NoDada! Sorry! I said dada! Dada!" Lily suddenly cried that made the twins cry too. "Dada!" "Dada!" The twins echoed her. Oh my gosh, this dramatic little girl could really turn the scene in a second. "Okay. I was just joking guys. Sorry. Don't cry. I'll tell you what, mommy said, Leo was just like me. That's why we were laughing earlier." They all stopped crying at once. "Okay, we believe you. Right, Leo?" Leo nodded, "Right!" What a dramatic siblings. I bet the twins will be wrapped around their sister's finger too when they grow up.

"Are all kids asleep now hun?" I asked Jennie as she went inside the room. "Yes. Thankfully, the twins fell asleep without any fuss." She settled beside me and I hug her then kissed her head. "Hun, I can't thank you enough for everything. I still can't believe this is not a dream. I thought there was no chance for me to be happy. I thought I was falling in the depths of hell. But here you are, my angel. Despite the pain, you came and rescued me. You even love me with all your heart. I always thought, 'what if I won't see you again?' 'What if you'll never forgive me?' or 'What if you're already happily married to someone else?' I know I don't deserve you but let me tell you that I'll be everything you need and do everything I can for you. I would give you and our kids all the love you deserve. Without you, I don't even know if I can remember the word love. I love you so much Jennie." I cried while reminiscing my past before I found her again. "Lisa, there's no what if's in this life. You will never know if you don't try. See, you tried to find me, then you found me. You tried to ask for a chance, and I gave you. My love for you is real. Even the past can't change my feelings. I may have feared the thought of you taking away my son, but deep in my heart I know I would still give you a chance to be with him. You deserve a chance in life too, Lisa. You deserve to be happy. And if that happiness is me, then, my love, welcome home!" Jennie said and hugged me I can never ask for more than the home I have now.
