Daisy

Starscream had stayed with me the whole fight, and when I asked him about it he just said it was orders, I know he wasn't telling the truth but I thanked him anyway. Speaking about thank, Thanksgiving is today. However, there's no table... since someone decided it was a good idea to break it in a fit of rage. *cough* Megatron *cough*

So instead of using a table, we will picnic, which I had to spend a whole lot of time convincing Megatron. Mostly because of humans being too close to the area. But after finding the best place, with no humans, he agreed. So now Steve, Knockout, and I were setting everything up, having Cybertronian and human food.

"You sure we got everything?" Steve asked, checking the list I gave him. "I'm sure, we spent half an hour setting this up as perfect as it could get." Knockout said, contacting Soundwave. I left to the flower field, grabbing a daisy and sticking it in my hair (after five or so times it finally stayed on). "Tell me why do you humans celebrate Thanksgiving or whatever."

"I'm not sure if it's because of the pilgrims and Indians or the harvest of foods," I spoke, trying to remember which one it was. I shrugged my shoulders giving up. Looking at the sky, which was turning pinks and oranges already. "What time is it?" I asked, the space bridge opening in front of us. "4:25," Soundwave said with a girl's British voice.

I nodded, turning around and walking over to the blanket (I made sure not to make it red and white). The blanket was purple, finding no black and purple checkered ones. The birds were chirping and the wind was blowing. I'm glad I brought my jacket.

I sat down as the others did too, and when I mean other I mean Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, and Knockout, Steve didn't sit down since it was getting a bit crowded. "What do humans do exactly on Thanksgiving?" Starscream asked, "We pray, well I guess you guys don't need to unless you want. Then we say what we are thankful for. Lastly, we eat and have fun."

Megatron, maybe Soundwave too, was praying, don't leave me out. Then we started with Megatron, "Mmm, I am thankful for Cybertron." not saying much after, then we moved to Soundwave. "I am. Thanks. Ful for. Megatron." He played different recordings, getting a smile to pop up on my face. It was Knockout turn next.

"I'm thankful for my buddy Breakdown," he sighed, "and my paint job." He added, taking Breakdown out of his processor, at least I think. Starscream was up next. "I'm thankful for... my brothers, and still being alive." Starscream had brothers? I could tell me and Knockout were both confused. Shockwave was the next contender.

"I am thankful for my research, the science." I totally didn't see that coming, no really I didn't. I completely forgot he's the scientist of the Decepticons. Steve was up, then finally me. "Oh me? Umm, I'm thankful for Daisy." He said, quite nervously, I mean who wouldn't, he's in front of his peers. "I'm thankful for the Decepticons, you guys specifically."

For a second I thought I saw Megatron and Starscream smile. But when I turned to them, it was gone in a flash, like it wasn't even there. The first one to dig in was Megatron, then everyone followed. I got up and went over to the nearby pond, looking at my reflection with fish swimming around. I heard pedesteps and turned to look at Steve.

"Is something wrong?" he asked, sitting down next to me and looking into the pond. I shook my head, "Nothing, I just haven't been outside in a while, it's been a long time since I've gone fishing too. Just old memories." I looked up at him, seeing him looking down, his reflection weirding him out. he poke the water, causing his reflection to turn wavy, he turned my way when he heard me giggle.

"We better go back, I don't want to get in trouble because we left," Steve said, standing up and walking back. I stood up and ran after him, when I was walking right next to him I just needed to jog. Now thinking of bringing high energon is a bad idea. When we got back Megatron was being held up by Soundwave, who had a wavy happy face.

Starscream was staring up at the sky, pointing at clouds saying they were planes. Knockout was fighting to get out of the scientist's arms, saying slurred words while Shockwave just stood there. I'm guessing he didn't drink the high grade. "We were gone for like two seconds! How did you already get drunk!" I yelled, dramatically falling to the floor.

"This is illogical Knockout, you'll fall over the klik I let you go." And he did, letting Knockout fall to the ground with a giggle, not noticing his paint has mud smeared on his chest. I fought the urge to laugh my heart off. "Look it's a bird!" Starscream yelled, pointing to a plane. "Oh geez..." Steve said. I was laughing holding my side, Starscream unintentionally just called himself a bird.

Soundwave spun in a circle, dragging Megatron with him. I'm surprised he drank the high energon. Now knowing I had the plan to stay here until late in the night, this was going to be a long day. And the drunk Cybertronians weren't helping.
