(Another chapter because I am sorry for leaving for so long) 😔
————————————————————————"Nobody will come, just accept it!" Her voice rang in my head. Was this really the end? The light was fading, not her words, they repeated over, and over, and over, and over. I was pretty sure this was the last time I would see the light, or well, the dim light of pink optics and the hanging lamp that threatened to fall at any moment.
"Just give up, it will all be over soon..." Her voice called again, the blood pooling around my body spreading farther. What, what if she is right? Will I see the sky again, my father, the Decepticons? Will I see heaven, or will it be an endless black void? Endless thoughts of dread?
"Your cries will be in vain, useless like your existence." She laughed twistedly, kicking at my broken arm. I cried out again, holding onto it dearly as if it was going to fall off at any moment. "Just let the darkness consume your sight..." She grinned, watching me struggle to keep myself awake.
Black spots started to appear in my vision, would the last thing I see is her hideous face? As she lifted up her foot to end it all with a sickening squish, shots that were fading as my consciousness began to lower as well. She put her foot down that was not on me, turning her head to the door that was the only escape to where we were.
"Those blasted fools found a way in? Is it the Autobots or the Decept-" It all turned black, I couldn't hear anything, I couldn't feel anything. Where was I? I sat up, looking at my twisted and disgusting body, only to find it completely unscathed. Was I in my head, the afterlife that promised so much that was a complete lie?
As I thought before, it was just black, completely devoid of colors -except for me- and no other life. I was alone, the pain was gone, at least the physical pain was. My eyes teared up, and I cried out for help again, expecting it to be all but a false hope. My eyes widened when it wasn't just deceptive hope, there was a light.
Where did it lead? I had no idea, but it was just light, nothing but a blinding flash in the dark pit of misery. I got up from the sitting position on the ground and strode to the light that didn't fade... was I leaving behind my life for the afterlife?
POV ended
Both the Autobots and Decepticons busted down the doors to the abandoned place, making an alliance as of now. The shots of their guns turned the door into nothing but melted metal. "Autobots! Megatron, it be best if the Decepticons go right while we go left. We need to find her fast." Optimus said, stepping into the dark building.
"Yes, Decepticons we go right!"
"Autobots, we go left!" Optimus yelled after Megatron, both teams go their separate ways, searching for the missing girl.
"We go in teams of two, more coverage. If you find her, report to me immediately!" Megatron called out to his force of Decepticon, getting a nod from them in return. "Starscream with me, now!" Megatron roared quickly, running through the halls with his SIC.
The cries of a girl's pained screams came from a room ahead, making them sprint quicker. They slammed open the door as Daisy closed her eyes, Arachnid stood in defense for herself and only herself. "Arachnid, you glitch!" Megatron Hissed through clenched teeth (or whatever they call them).
"I would stay and chat, but I'm sure my job is already complete." Arachnid giggled, digging into the ground and fleeing away.
"You coward! Get back here!" Megatron roared out to her, but she didn't come back. Megatron snapped his hand to call Knockout immediately. "Knockout!" Megatron yelled, getting a muffled response back from him, the place was messing with the communication.
"My lord! Her pulse is slowing down! Get Knockout quick!" Starscream yelled.
Megatron slammed his fist on the wall next to him, "We need to get her to him, quick!" Megatron urged. "Damn it!" Megatron was getting frustrated, or more so worried. He picked both Starscream and Daisy up and ran for Knockout's location. "Frag!" Megatron hissed out, the zig-zag pattern of the building slowing him down.
He turned a corner, knocking down the medic he was looking for. "Knockout! Call the Autobots medic too, primus damn it!"
Daisy's POV
I was so close to the light, at this point, it was blinding me. I stopped dead in front of it, what would happen when I touch the orb that flashed the sun-like light? Though, it wasn't hot like the sun, just the light was. Should I keep my curiosity to myself or touch it?
Now I'm having second thoughts on this, what should I do? I hesitantly lift up my arm, reaching out for the light that maybe would be heaven. I stopped before I fully touch it. What was happening? The light was fading quickly! "Wait!" I scream out to the light. I reached out to touch it again, only for it to disappear as my hand touched the spot it was just a moment ago.
"Hello! Please don't leave me!" I yelled, darting my head in every direction. It was just a false hope that flashed before my eyes just for it to disappear and leave me feeling even more afraid and confused about what was happening. Tears formed once again.
This was too much angst for a girl like me...
