The moon was still shining, it had felt like hours, shouldn't the moon be falling and the sun rising? I lay in the grass, seeing some blue growling liquid leading to the dark forest. It honestly terrified me. And yes I'm seven living with robots who taught me that acting like a child isn't the way, but I felt the fear when I was home. Curled in my bed hearing the arguments of my parents. I felt the tears prickling, the stinging of remembering my mom's face hurt. I felt like laying there just as I did that night. Holding my ears to cover the screaming, the ringing that set in was more horrifying.

The silence was worse, the sizzling and heat. I can't hear the wind, the crickets, anything but the horrified screams and flames that tore me from the inside. I felt the heat, I felt the burning that left me with wounds and scars. Scars in my mind and scars on my body. I'm not weak, I'm not weak, I'm not weak, I ' M N O T W E A K...

I gasped, sitting up and breathing heavily, everything felt numb, and my mind felt dizzy. Why did those memories show? Is it because I'm alone? Nobody to help me? I could still feel the burns all over my body, I could still feel the blood my mother spilled as she burned. Why was it so hard to forget, why can't I forget? I calmed my heavy heart by thinking of the ship, thinking of the holidays. Was it wrong to not tell them they missed my birthday? No, they are at war, I'm just a faint hope that is nothing better but a doll.

I can't stay here, I can't just lay here, I need to find them, or something. I just need a breath, to let the numbness fade from my legs and arms so I can stand and crawl. Get my mind to not think of fear and the taste of bitterness. Unconsciously trying the scratch the dry blood off even if I had none on me. Just think of jokes and following the energon. It's that easy.

I wiped my cheek from the dirt, looking up at the sky, it was sprinkled with stars that I wanted to reach out and grab. I am aware of the fact that getting close to one of those stars will almost guarantee my death. However, as tempting as it was to chase after those stars, I knew that "shooting for the stars" in this case would truly be a fatal endeavor. It sounded fun and weirdly enough a way to forget everything, lovely.

I stand and sway on my feet, walking is mostly useless as rocks stab my feet, I remember I do not have shoes on. My throat felt dry and parched, I felt like I was in the cold deserts of the Sahara, the soil feeling like wet sand between my toes. My hunger also arose, a large gurgle coming from my stomach, sounding like a beast as nearby birds flew into the night sky after hearing the echo.

I groaned, the night felt ridged, was it ever going to turn day? As I continued to wander, I could sense a gnawing hunger in my stomach. I was desperate to find something to eat, but I wasn't sure what to do. I wandered aimlessly, feeling the rocks stab my feet, when I heard a rustling in the bushes. I snapped my head in that direction, I felt my breath pick up. I felt ready to cry. I crawled over, flinching when a bird flapped away, I sighed in relief. Just a bird.

I was ready to crawl back when my hand was met with some cold and metal feeling. I tugged on said item; it was heavy and didn't move. I moved the bushed out of the way, two paws and the end of what looked like a large metal animal. Large. I swallowed and invested some more, finding the upper part, it looked like a panther. Was this also Cybertronian? I titled my head, putting my hand on the upper maw of the large metal cat, maybe Silas- oh, there was a Decepticon symbol on its chest.

"He.. hello?" Nothing answered back. I shuddered from the cold, scooting closer and huddling close to the large feline. My elbow bumped against its symbol.

Soundwave stopped everything he was doing, turning and making a space bridge as fast as he could. Not listening to anyone telling him to come back. He felt the calling of an old minicon. He couldn't ignore it. It led to a dark forest, the trees poking and brushing up against him. It was annoying but he had other things to worry about. He looked in the direction the call was coming from.
