(Sorry for leaving you guys hanging, I've just been caught up with everything, let me know if you want Christmas chapters or not because it's long gone 😅.)
The wind blew gently across my face, the stars glittering like a show in the night sky. It was nice, being able to have a moment to just look up and appreciate the beauty of the night sky. It was something I always looked forward to, on the deck of the Nemesis. Though this time I'm in a wave of colorful flowers. A few daisies rubbed against my bare legs. Although I am enjoying myself, being with my family would have made this experience even better. I really miss them.
I could faintly see the consolation of Orion in the sky, grasping his bow like any hunter would. I brush my hand against the grass and grab onto some, pulling but it stays firmly in the ground like hair. I let go after a while, glancing over to my new ride, which was slower than anything I could think of. But at least it keeps me on my feet- actually, let's not think about that.
I wonder if the Decepticons are looking for me, I would think so, right?
My body flinched as the ground shook and the wind picked up, pushing me to the ground and making me get a mouthful of grass. A loud boom, the sky lighting up in blue, it had to be energon! My ears ring, making my hands go up and rub my ear in hopes of calming the sensation. There must be a fight, meaning the Decepticons must be here!
I try to stand up but my legs shake and I fall to my knees, the pain erupting from my fractured knee spiking immediately. I felt like I was going to lose my leg at that very moment, biting my lip hard to not let out a painful scream. I sighed shakily and reached for my wheelchair, the energon explosion was not too far, as the wind of it was enough to knock me over into the daisies and grass. Fortunately, it's not Christmas. I wouldn't have wanted a face full of grass as a gift.
The grass and the little hill were making my journey harder and I wasn't getting anywhere! I huffed, not going to let this beat me now! I leap off my wheelchair, flinging myself a little farther. I limped to let the pain have fewer consequences than walking normally, having a burst of unknown determination that I must reach the sight of the energon blow.
The trees above shaded my path, making it hard to see and the rate of tripping a lot larger than before. But in my desperation to get over I managed to not have my clumsy aft on the floor. I stumbled to a tree and grasped onto it, holding on for dear life.
Squinting my eyes I looked forward to try and see what was going on, seeing a few energon scraps near me. They had probably been thrown far from the boom. There was a large crater, but no sign of Autobot or Decepticon. I was expecting at least a bot, not... silence.
Even if I dart my eyes into every corner of the field there is no sign of anyone but myself, I'm not sure if I should be glad or not. If no one is here how did the energon explode? I was getting too curious as I ventured closer, my legs still wobbling like a chair that was about to break.
I let out a loud yelp as I stubbed my toe on a rock, falling face-first into more rocks, "AF FLACKK!" I will most definitely have a bleeding nose and a cut, these rocks are sharp and painful. I sat up and held my toe, stubbing my toes is a regular, but why did they always do so much damage?
Should I be even getting closer, now that I think about it, I might have just walked into a field of radioactive alien matter. And I am not a Cybertronian, I can not handle this stuff like Optimus or Megatron. I was most specifically told maybe around a million times not to go into the energon storage as they think I'd eat some. I don't have the balls to try, not even the counterparts of energon. Especially not Dark Energon after it made Megatron look like he was on drugs.
I look around, trying to pick something out of the dark, I can't decipher which way I came from. As I crawl on the dirt and use my hands to determine if I'm going to crawl into rocks, I feel like a blind person looking for their glasses. Rocks in this case are more deadly than legos. I guess you could say rocks are "Transformers", they transform your toes into the worst pain of the year. They're like the evil step-cousin of legos, waiting for the moment to exact revenge on unsuspecting toes. Maybe we should start calling them "toe assassins" instead.
Maybe I should stop thinking of jokes and focus on rocking my way out of this situation.
