"Optimus, there is a faint signal," Ratchet announced to his old friend. He moved out of the way so Optimus could come over and look.
"Hrm, I'll send Myself and Bumblebee to explore," Optimus heaves. The past month has been exhausting, not for the reason of Decepticons getting more feisty, it's quite the opposite. It's almost like they disappeared, which is more worrying than a break-in at a military base.
Optimus' booming voice had already alerted the scout over, having to buzz to Raf that he'll talk cars later. Bulkhead and Arcee were already out scouting, Smokescreen going for a drive. So it was only the three– the humans not included– at the moment. "Send a space-bridge"
Ratchet complied and pulled the switch, the glowing blue swirl of a portal popping into thin air. The two large bots heading past Ratchet and over to the space bridge. They then went through, disappearing into the teal lights and to a whole nother plain of field. The tree made it darker and blocked out the moon shining down from above.
Optimus looked to where the signal should be, soft cries could be heard. Before Optimus could caution his scout Bumble went forward to look for it while buzzing. Though his leader did not try to stop him, He followed behind Bumblebee oddly silent.
Bumblebee rushed forward and bent down over the weeping girl, calling his leader over. Optimus didn't know whether he should be worried or relieved, or maybe both. The girl looked up at him tearfully, and Optimus also bent down to scoop the girl in his servo. "Bumblebee, call Ratchet now."
Bumblebee nodded and started beeping into his coms, almost instantly the portal popped up again, and Optimus and Bumblebee both stepped through it with a new visitor.

"Oh, my sweet baby!" Conner cries out in joy as he embraces his child, though not a single peep from her so far. Daisy wasn't sure how to react to her father, yes of course she was happy but she felt compacted. If she was squished in a compactor into a tin can it'd feel the same. Of course, she hugged her pa back but she wished she reluctantly opposed the idea of leaving so soon. She wasn't so ready to leave the safety of the Nemesis.
And I don't think the Decepticons were either.
It was mostly a rush in Daisy's opinion, in the crossfire of confusion of quick instructions she tried to find a spot before she tried to activate the faint location thingy (or whatever they called it) apparently it only lasted a few minutes. Why didn't they just stick a tracker to her forehead? It's much easier in her opinion.
Enough of opinions, she has to figure out to act as if she is a victim, which she did. And she could have done it a lot easier. During her adventure to find a spot to set up and somehow cry, she twisted her arm the wrong way. And it still hurts. Though after inspections nothing was wrong but the fractures. Which gives more of a victimizer advantage, she could always say it was a sense of torture. Though she'd feel bad lying about it.
But of course, she knows that the Autobots know the Decepticons care– or more like the thought that maybe they want to use her– enough to actually team up with them to get her from Arachnid. She still has PTSD from that.
For now, though she'll act like a paranoid innocent 6-year-old who has no clue where to go or what to do.
Her father's voice snapped her out of her thoughts, "are you okay?" She scratched her head and nodded, her throat feeling scratchy now. She doesn't fully want to talk to anyone right now, but she still will just so the "trust" is there.
"I'm okay Conner," and she already screwed everything up. Okay yes, she felt embarrassed for calling the one who adopted and cared for her a whole different name than usual but she is just going act like she didn't. Maybe he won't notice. "Can I go to my room now..."
"Yeah, go ahead," he said with less optimism. He totally just got affected by that, and she will pretend to be clueless still. She'll keep in mind that messing up like that is not the best idea. She stepped away from her father's arms and went to the staircase, hearing her father's sigh of sadness.
"She needs time, it'll be okay," another voice says. Apparently, in that two-year time frame, he got a girlfriend. Who she already dislikes. Yes, she is nice and yes she knows how to cook (who wouldn't want fresh tacos?) but she does not want to have to recognize new faces. She'll probably forget about her later.
"She doesn't even call me Papa anymore!" He snapped at her, getting a sigh back as she came over and rubbed his shoulder. She felt bad, but she was unsure if she considered him her father anymore. Replacement sounds horrible but it corrects phrases. She has others she is comfortable with.
She stopped on the stairs and sighed, she'll have to go to school again, won't she?

Sorry for the late posts, I'm not into Transformers as I was a year ago, so this story might end abruptly but I will try to space out the ending. This book is already long enough.
