Amaya wore her dress. It was light pink dress with golden embellishments and green dupatta. She kept her hair straight and wore a pink lipstick. Rachita gave her big earrings which were dropping and mixing in her hair. She saw herself in the mirror and sat on the chair as she remembered Mantu. Just then there was a knock on her door. Amaya brushed her tears as she opened the door. Uma was standing there. "Uma you are here? Do you need some help.", said Amaya amazed. "Yes! I want you to help me get ready. For the 1st time Mantu and I will dance together. I want to look my best. I just saw Rachita, she was looking gorgeous, will you do the same makeup for me.", said Uma in one go. Though she wanted to go outside, but Amaya was not in the mood to fight. She nodded slightly as she walked in inside and Uma entered the room.
Uma observed her room intently. "You are here for your make-up. Just sit and let me do that Uma. I have other things to do as well.", said Amaya as she opened her makeup kit. Uma made a salty face and sat on the chair. Uma was about to say something when Amaya interrupted, "Don't speak otherwise it will get spoiled." Amaya was not interested in her blabber. She was not interested in anything. Amaya did her makeup and said, "Do you need me to put more or is it fine?" "No, I think it's fine. Thank you so much Amaya. 1st you gave me my Mantu back by showing your true side and now this.", said Uma tried her best to trigger her. "I have always been my own self Uma. That's why people like you hate me, and people like Mantu can love. If I have not been my true self then I would wear a saree and plot like you. But I didn't!", said Amaya and she packed her makeup kit. "Anyways I hope you like it. You can leave now, I have to arrange my bed and cupboard."
Uma clenched her fists as she went from her room. As she was going somewhere, she lost her balance and slipped. She fell hard on the ground and realized that oil was spilled on the floor. She called out Mantu but due to function no one could hear her. She cried in pain.
There, Rachita and Rama's performance was next. Mamaji-mamiji, chaubeyji-naniji already performed and so does neeti-jazz. Piya was giving her spectacular performance. Mantu was worried as Amaya didn't show up yet. She wasn't interested. She only choreographed them. Karan also backed off to dance with her because he just can't do it. Amaya decided to dance alone, alas! she has to live her life alone. Before, Rachita began her performance, she asked about the whereabouts of Amaya. Amaya closed her room's door and went downstairs. Rachita smiled seeing her and Amaya did too. Amaya gave them an all the best as they started dancing.
Mantu eyes were fixed on Amaya. Her look was eating him up. If everything was same like 2 days before, he would have taken her somewhere and played with her jhoomkas, but he knew he can't. Amaya too noticed Mantu, in his green kurta he was looking dashing. Amaya controlled herself as she started clapping for the couple. Mantu noticed that Uma can't be seen anywhere.
Next performance was theirs. He went inside to find Uma and couldn't find her anywhere. Mantu went to Amaya as he said, "Amaya have you seen Uma, she told me she was going to your room for makeup." "Yess I did her makeup and she left. I locked my room and came here. I didn't see her.", said Amaya trying to compose herself. Mantu looked at Amaya who was again absorbed in the performance and he was absorbed in her. "Amaya please ask Jazz to not take our name, I can't dance alone.", said Mantu. "Wait let us find her together.", said Amaya as she went with him. And before they could go, Jazz announced, "I hope you liked Rachi di's and rama jiju's performance. Now you may please proceed to apply shagun mehendi to our beloved Rachi di and after 5 mins Rama jiju's best friend Mantu will give a performance." Jazz came to both of them as she said, "All the best Mantu." "Jazz why didn't you take Uma's name.", asked Amaya. "I don't take kachara's name Amaya.", said Jazz as she went away.
Amaya stared at her as she went and sat with Rachita. "Okay you stand here, and I'll go and find Uma.", said Amaya as she went. Amaya ran and saw every nook and corner of her house. Suddenly she heard a sound and went towards it. It was Uma screaming in pain. "Umaaa.", said Amaya as she ran towards her. "Are you alright.?", Amaya carefully stepped on the oil as she helped Uma to get up but she couldn't, her foot was twisted very badly. Amaya took her to her bedroom and placed her on her bed. She gave Uma a painkiller and placed a pillow beneath his foot. Uma screamed in pain. "Uma, how did this happen? And you could have called Mantu or someone.", asked Amaya as she applied her pain reliefing spray.
"My phone was with Mantu and I don't know how I reached there and how I slipped.", said Uma as she screamed in pain again. “Uma it will be fine. You just rest. Okay. Do you need something. Food. Water." Uma shoke her head indicating a no. "How will I dance Amaya. Oh! Wait...", said Uma as she heard Jazz announcing their dance. Uma cried in pain as she tried to get up. "Uma are you mad. You will break your foot if you will get up. Don't worry I'll do something. You just rest here and keep my phone, if you need anything else call from this okay.", said Amaya as she stood up. "What this phone's password?", asked Uma. Amaya hesitantly said, "It's Mantu with @ in it and capital M, For the lock outside. And you don't need to open anything else for that matter. Just a call is enough.", And with that Amaya ran downstairs.
Mantu was standing in the middle of the room when light turned down and slowly someone appeared from the shadows. It was Amaya. Mantu was awestruck when he saw her coming slowly towards him. She looked like an angel. She stood in front of him and smiled. Mantu forgot everything, his surroundings, his decision, his pain, his heartbreak, or even his nervousness and smiled too. They were ready to dance together.
