After we were done in the Three Broomsticks inn, everyone was in mutual agreement that now was the perfect time to visit Honeydukes, since it would be slightly quieter, although it was still bound to be busy.
It wasn't too far from the pub, but the subject of Malfoy being brought up the entire walk there made it feel much longer.
I didn't know what to think about the situation, Malfoy was confusing me, and I didn't like it. I hate not knowing where I stand with people, it makes me sick to my stomach with anxiety and worry.
As soon as we walked through the doors of Honeydukes, I pushed the thought of him away from my mind and let the smell of sweets take over me.
Hannah grabbed my hand and ran forwards, dragging me through the isles while we searched each shelf, giggling with excitement like it was our first time coming in here, even though we had been many times before.
I made my way over to the chocolate section, filling my bag with all different kinds of chocolates like chocolate frogs, chocolate wands, chocoballs, and more.
It was important to stack up on sweets since I wanted them to last until our next Hogsmeade trip, I hated running out.
"A chocolate lover?" Theo's voice came from behind me and I turned around to face him, "Don't worry, I'm not with Malfoy and that." He reassured me before I could answer.
I glanced down into my bag, letting out an awkward laugh, "I guess you could say that."
He smiled before sighing, "I just wanted to apologize about earlier, I was completely clueless on the fact that they didn't know, I didn't even think about it."
I shook my head, not wanting him to feel bad about it, "No need, it's fine, trust me. They didn't take it as bad as I thought anyways."
He squinted at me, thinking back to how Ernie stormed over to their table.
"It could of been much worse." I assured him and he raised his brows in slight surprise, most likely from the fact that Slytherins never react like that. Us Hufflepuffs would because of her our strict morals, which is why Ernie couldn't hold back.
It was comforting to know he wouldn't hesitate to defend me like that, but it wasn't the right time for it and there was no reason.
"Well, good luck on dealing with them." He lowered his voice, motioning to them with a small smirk.
"Rather them than Malfoy." I shrugged.
He snorted, running his hand through his hair and nodding, "Fair enough. Anyways, I gotta head back to them, I'll see you soon yeah?"
I paused from shoving more sweets in my bag to wave him goodbye, wondering how someone like him could hang around people like Malfoy and his goons.
Right as he left, Hannah came and stood next to me, nudging my arm with her elbow, "Theodore Nott, hm? That's new."
I rolled my eyes, giggling, "He's just a friend, I barely know him."
She shook her head at me, clearly not believing my story, "Sure." She huffed, running her hands along the boxes of sweets.
Theo wasn't bad looking, I couldn't lie about that, but I wasn't sure if I could ever see myself dating him, especially considering the fact that he is friends with Malfoy. I'm sure that wouldn't go down well.
"Is there seriously no boy you like?" Hannah's voice turned serious, almost like this was an interrogation, "Or girl! I don't mind!"
I paused, thinking about it before pushing away the thoughts, "Nope."
