The Quidditch match soon came around and my nerves were rising, so much to the point where I felt too sick to eat during breakfast before it, but Cedric forced me.

I hadn't got as much practice as I would have liked due to a certain someone showing up, but I still felt ready.

The only problem which Cedric had warned us all about, was that all morning it had been pouring down with rain, a thunderstorm from what we could all see. Some of us were worried Quidditch would be cancelled, but Cedric promised that that wasn't the case, which meant that we would be playing in awful weather conditions.

So, when we walked onto the pitch together, we all huddled into one group to make sure none of us got dragged away by the wind, staggering sideways since the wind was that strong.

I had never played in a thunderstorm before, so I wasn't sure on what exactly to expect apart from the obvious strong gusts which would try and knock me off my broom again.

Both teams mounted their brooms and flew up into the air, swaying side to side as we got into our positions, fixating our eyes on Madam Hooch.

The sound of the thunder drowned out the crowd as well as all other sounds, making it quite hard to hear and therefore hard to communicate with one another.

As the whistle sounded, a bolt of lightning struck down us and some of the players didn't even hear the whistle, causing them to be caught off guard when everyone dashed forwards.

Gryffindor managed to get ahold of the Quaffle first, kicking me into action.

I quickly caught sight of the chaser with the Quaffle tucked under their arm, recognizing it to be Katie Bell, who seemed to be looking to pass it to another one of their chasers.

I predicted the pass and quickly dove towards them, intercepting the ball as it flew through the air, reaching my arm up to grab it, feeling thankful as I felt it hit my hand.

Shoving it under my arm, I ducked down and flew past the two chasers, glancing to my left to see Malcolm flying next to me, Tamsin directly behind us as we headed straight for their hoops.

Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a bludger hurling straight for me, alerting me.

I widened my eyes and acted fast, beginning to move in a zig zag motion, letting out of a sigh of relief as it whizzed past me.

"Aurelia!! Watch out!!"

I snapped my head to the left to see another bludger merely a few metres away from smacking into me.

"Shit!!" I cursed and quickly rolled over on my broom, hanging upside down while it passed me before swinging back up before anything else could get to me.

Bloody Weasleys.

Tamsin called out to me and I glanced down to see her directly below me, allowing us to pull off a Porskoff play.

I flew upwards, checking behind me to see that Gryffindor's chasers right on my trail.

A small smirk on my face, I grabbed the Quaffle out from under my arm and launched it down to Tamsin below me, allowing her to fly straight towards the scoring area with the other team's chasers far behind.

As she did, me and Malcolm exchanged glances as a chaser was beginning to pass us, both of us nodding to one another.

Just like we had practiced, we both swerved and closed in on them, stopping them from catching up to Tamsin, eliminating them as a threat overall.

But it was worthless because as we looked ahead at her, my heart dropped when I saw a bludger smack directly into her side, nearly knocking her off her broom and forcing her to drop the Quaffle in order to steady herself.
