A few days passed and apart from glances across the Great Hall and notes passed in class, me and Draco barely spoke. We hadn't met up since that night either to let everything cool down, not wanting Harry's focus on us.

I had to get in as much practice as I could for Quidditch. It was known that I was an official part of the team now, so the attention I was getting was slightly overwhelming.

We had lost against Ravenclaw, which was disappointing but most of us expected it, us Hufflepuffs were never competitive enough to actually win.

The Hufflepuff team were like my new family, most of them were older than me, so I knew that I had them watching over me like older siblings.

Cedric had been helping me practice outside of our scheduled practices with the whole team and I must admit that he was a great teacher, the separate practices with him were helping me so much.

Christmas was coming up soon and I was stressed about presents. I was running low on Galleons and I had many people I needed to buy for, including my secret Santa which was luckily Hannah.

We had another Hogsmeade trip coming up, which I would use to buy all my presents. However, I usually walked around it with Hannah, so I would have to find someone else to go with or try to find a way to hide it from her.

Then I remembered Hermione and Ron asking me to walk with them last time and I declined, so I quickly figured out that the best thing to do was walk around with them instead.

So at breakfast before we left, I chose to go over to the Gryffindor table and not my own, hoping that they wouldn't mind.

As I walked in, I did my usual routine of glancing over at the Slytherin table and meeting his silver eyes, shooting him a small smile after seeing him staring back at me before walking over to the Gryffindors.

The trio were sat in the middle, deep in discussion about something like they always were.

"Aurelia!" Hermione was the first to notice me, snapping out of the conversation, "Will you be sitting with us today?"

I nodded, "If that's okay?"

A small smile overtook her face and she nudged Ron next to her, forcing him to move up to give me space to sit down.

I sat down next to Hermione and grabbed myself a bowl of porridge, feeling eyes burn into the side of my head which made me nervous and I didn't dare to raise my head, already knowing who it was.

"I wanted to ask," I turned to Hermione, "Would I be able to walk around with you two on the trip to Hogsmeade? I need to buy presents." I kept my voice low, not wanting any Hufflepuffs behind me to overhear.

Hermione finished her mouthful and quickly nodded, not forgetting to shoot Ron a glare when he stole some of her food. "Of course." She agreed after rolling her eyes at him.

I let out a giggle, admiring how fast Ron could get through his food. I could never have more than a few bites without feeling sick, but he looked like he could eat both his and 'mione's and be fine.

Harry sat opposite us stayed silent, but I noticed the way he stared at me the entire time I ate my porridge, making me feel self conscious.

He had been acting weird recently, and I wasn't sure if it was because of his crush or because of the fact that he found me and Draco in the astronomy tower together. Maybe he acted like he had no idea when he really did.

"A-are you alright, Aurelia? After what happened with Malfoy I thought you might not be." He finally spoke up, awkwardly stumbling over his words.

Before I could even get a word in, Ron frowned and butted in, taking a break from his stuffing his mouth, "What did Malfoy do?" He glanced at Harry then me and I realized Harry was going to let me do the explaining, which meant I would have to make a story up on the spot.
