Morning came, gladly it was sunday already which means the one week of staying at the Farm House is done and will be travelling back to manila already by today. They'll go back in a reality of city life where there schedules are jam packed of meetings already, also it would be the last night zoey would be staying at them as probably her parents would be home tomorrow already.
A beautiful sunrise had welcomed them aside from greggy and irene who's still at their room, they we're fixing themselves as well as their stuffs already. They would ridr their own car just aside from greggy as he requested one of the tagapamahala in the hacienda to drive them back together as he don't have the energy to do so.
After which they all decided to attend a Mass first at St. Michael the Archangel Parish. They all just have their cup of coffee's and Milk as they also might be late for the mass already.
"Peace be with you", the mass presider said which everyone exchange. It was a peaceful mass, its just the family was starting to get curious why Irene and greggy wasn't interacting that much where in fact they were too sweet yesterday.
They decided to each at a fine dining restaurant, "hoy, may problema ba Irene?", Tanong ni Imee dahil katabi Niya lang ito. Nasa Ginta ni Irene at greggy si Zoey.
"Wala naman Manang, bakit?"
"Kanino pa kayo Hindi nagkikibuan ni greggy. May nangyari ba?"
"May iniisip lang si greggy Manang, may problema ata sa Negros Yung pinapatayong powerplant", Saad ni Irene na Siya namang pagsang-ayon nalang ni Imee.
Hindi nagtagal dumating dumating na rin ang order nila, pagkatapos nun ay nagpaalam na Sila sa isa't isa at nagtungo sa kanya kanyang nila sasakyan.
The atmosphere was too quiet for Zoey that she can sense something is wrong between the two, they're ignoring each other since morning. She hold Irene's hand who's zoning out, tinignan naman Niya ito at ngumiti, "yes, darling?", Tanong nito.
"Are you okay tita? Are you both okay?", She ask out of curiosity she isn't used to it as she always see the two who's been the sweetest towards each other. And for Zoey after what happened to her parents way back she had this trauma already.
Nagtinginan naman ang dalawa, "were fine, darling."
Wala Ng nagawa si Zoey kaya hinayaan Niya nalang ito, pagkatapos ay nakatulog na ito. Nastuck Sila Ng trafficic kaya medyo natagalan din ang byahe nila.
It was Five in the afternoon when they got home at Forbes, Zoey was upstairs fixing her things. When suddenly someone knocks, "come in po"
"What are you doing?"
"I'll be going home na po Tito, mom and dad will be home naman by tomorrow"
"I don't think I like the idea Zoe, you don't have someone to accompany you for the night"
"I'm fi--"
"That will not be fine with me, bukas kana uuwi. At Ako MISMO ang maghahatid Sayo"
"Tito that's too much na po, I'll be oka--"
"No more buts Zoe, halika sa baba your kuya's didn't go home yet nasa sala Sila let's play monopoly."
"Nako naman. I thought they'll be going home na po?"
"Bukas nalang daw it's Sunday naman so they'll spend the night here"
"Oh okay po"
They were having fun and Irene was at the kitchen preparing Thier dinner, not so long after greggy and Irene went first while the three decided to watch some movies when Zoey felt sleepy she already excused and bid her good night to the two which Alfonso and Luis nod and tell Zoey they'll finish the movie and will sleep afterwards.
"Don't stay up too late kuya's you have work pa tomorrow, thank you again for the fun vacation. Love you both!", She exclaimed and finally went upstairs. As she was about to enter her room she saw greggy who's in his way to his office.
"I thought they sleep na kanina it's been an hour naman na ah", she thought.
"Tito", she called greggy's attention and went near.
"Oh Hindi pa ba kayo tapos Ng mga kuya mo? It's late already"
"Hindi pa Tito but I'm gonna sleep na, I thought tulog na kayo ni tita"
"Oh Hindi, I am fixing something pa."
"Eh si tita po?"
"Nasa room namin kanina"
"Sige po Tito, have your rest na din po after okay? Don't stress yourself too much. I'll just say good night to tita", she lovingly uttered.
"Good night, Zoe", Saad ni greggy at niyakap ito na Siya naman pagkayap pabalik ni Zoey at nagpaalam na pagkatapos at nagtungo sa kuwarto nila Irene at greggy.
She knocks and called Irene but there wasn't even a single respond, "tita I am coming in na po", she said and opened the door slightly. She heard some small minimal.
Irene was holding a brown envelope which was given by greggy, it was delivered earlier in the morning by greggy's investigator it had all the original copies and documents even pictures of Irene visiting bukidnon a couple of times way back. It wasn't a business related, she just made it as an alibi's. They had some argument again.
"Tita", mahinang sambit ni Zoey na Siya namang biglang kinabigla ni Irene, ibinalik Niya ang lahat sa loob Ng envelope at pinunasan ang mga luha nito.
"Bat Hindi kapa natutulog, sweetheart", malambing na sambit ni Irene ngunit dining na dining mo kung paano ito namamaos na.
Hindi na sumagot si Zoey at lumapit nalang Kay Irene at niyakap ito Ng mahigpit, she knows there is a problem between Irene and greggy.
"Stop crying tita, you don't have eyes na po", sambit ni Zoey matapos ang ilang minuto na pagyakap Niya Kay Irene.
"You have chinita eyes na nga tas you'll cry po you don't have eyes na po oh", she added trying to light up the mood.
Napatawa naman si Irene, may sasabihin sana ito Ng biglang humikab si Zoey. "Inaantok kana no?"
"Medyo tita, I was about to say good night lang po sana. You and tito had a fight po?"
"Medyo, anak. May Hindi lang pagkakaintindihan pero magiging okay din kami. Galit Kase ang Tito mo kaya ayaw ko na Muna siyang kulitin"
Ngumiti naman si Zoey.
"You want to sleep here? I know your Tito would stay up late making his self busy"
"Do you want me to sleep here?", Tanong naman pabalik ni Zoey.
Tumango naman si Irene, "can you accompany me for the night?"
"Okay po", sambit ni Zoey at umayos na Sila Ng higa. She kiss Irene's cheeks, "don't cry na po hmm, I'm here and for sure Tito is not mad at you na by tomorrow so take a rest already pretty tita", she stated.
She let Zoey head to rest unto her arms as she sang a lullaby she always does sing to Zoey way back. "That lullaby seems so familiar tita, it calm my nerves", inaantok na Saad ni Zoey at pagtapos Ng ilang minuto ay nakatulog na nga ito Ng tuluyan.
Pinagmasdan naman ito ni Irene at di maiwasang maiyak, she kissed Zoey's forehead multiple times and sleep in her deep slumber also.
