The Two Rats <3

Context: my friend Snowy (You should know her if you don't read their book "Shut Me Up" and their other ones) and I were doing a role-play thing on modded Minecraft and I found a rat that I called my child.
Long story short his name is Boom Boom, he is my son, and I love him.
Also, this is kind of based on the RP we're doing, which will be getting its own book that Snowy will be posting, but this mostly just has to do with the rat.

Quackity went upstairs to grab something, he didn't tell me what just said it was something.

"BIG Q?"

"YEAH?"
I heard him shout from upstairs nearly instantly.

"YOU COMING BACK DOWN SOON?"

"HOLD ON-"

I sat forward hanging my hands off the couch staring at the stairs.
This was my first time inside his house it was nice honestly, 2 story house not including the attic with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
It was a big house for two people but it didn't feel empty, in fact, it felt cozy and lived in, it has a nice smell too. If I had to describe it light lavender with a hint of vanilla.

"OKAY, I'M COMING!"

I looked back at the stairs waiting for him to make his way down and show-

"AHH- WHAT THE FUCK-"
I jumped back into the corner of the couch away from Quackity.

He started laughing and grabbing the FUCKING RAT that was on his head and bringing it to his chest moving closer to me.

"It's okay! He doesn't bite,"
He brought himself closer to me shaking from laughter.

"Why- WHY DO YOU HAVE A FUCKING RAT IN YOUR HOUSE-" (269)

"I mean, I have you in my house. You're my big rato~"
He sounded oddly flirty while saying that, it made my face heat up.

"I- I'm a human being thank you very much!"

"Yeah, well Boom smells better than you-"

"Who?"

"Boom Boom,"
He held up the rat that was in his hands and smelling his fingers,
"The rat you just freaked out over amor."
He started giggling and petting 'Boom Boom'-

"You named it Boom Boom?"

"Yeah! He makes little hisses like TNT,"

"R-really?"

"Yeah, he's cute, right? Here hold him."
Q held the rat out toward me and I flatted my hands allowing it to crawl on my hands.

"I.... don't hate it as much as I thought I would-"

"There you go, see."

After a few minutes of the rat nuzzling around my hand, Quackity took him back letting him crawl up onto his head and nuzzle himself in his beanie.

"Aww... cute"

"I told you he's adorable~"

"Huh? Oh, the rat's cute too..."
