A New Years Night

The moon shined bright throughout the night sky, with midnight just minutes away Quackity stood up on the space needle staring at the start sky a lit cigarette sitting between his lips.

The clock drew closer and closer to the end of the year as Quackity heard the elevator behind him start to ding, he turned around to see who had joined him to be slightly disappointed at the sight of his rival.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"
He took out his cigarette and tapped the ash over the edge as he glared up at Wilbur, "Uhm.... same as you?" He approached the shorter male and stood next to him staring out at Las Nevadas.

"Since when were you allowed into my country?" Quackity turned back to the view and glared up at Wilbur putting his cigarette back in his mouth, "Well... never, but I saw you up here and-"

"How the fuck did you see me up here?"
Quackity turned his head to the taller and furrowed his brows staring at him.

"Uhm... so... why are you up here alone?"

"How did you see me up here-"

"I just... saw you come up here? Earlier-"
He leaned over the glass railing and stared out at Las Nevadas and hung his head low.

"Right..."
Quackity took a drag of his cigarette and blew out the smoke into the night air, watching it dance in the wind as it slowly disappeared.

"So... how come you're here alone?"

"How come you're here?"

"I didn't want you to be alone-"

Q sighed and leaned over the railing, "Careful, you might fall-" Wil put his hand out to Quackity's shoulder, "If I'm fucking lucky-"

"Come on, it's New Years. Be happy for once-"
Wilbur joked lightly chuckling.

"The fuck's there to be happy about?"
His tone was dark and heavy as he finished off his cigarette and dropped it over the edge.

"Well... your country? Your life..."
Wilbur trailed off and turned away from his rival staring down at the ground thinking of more reasons.

"Only one of those things is worth something to me."
He sighed and looked at his watch then back up at the sky, "Just stop Soot. I'll allow you to stay in my country till it strikes midnight. Alright?

Wilbur perked up and looked over at the hybrid with wide eyes, "r...really?"

"You're already here aren't you? It would be a fucking pain to get you out right now."

"Thanks, Q!"

"Don't get used to it... plus you have less than a minute." Quackity looked back at his watch.

"Oh... well... still, thanks Duckling..."


Quackity's wings lightly twitched then snapped closed onto his body, "Don't..."

(I'm listening to "Somebody I fucked once. Sooo we have a new plot-)
"Oh, sorry Q-" Wil looked away from Quackity and back out at the country he was now allowed in for a few minutes, "You know... probably shouldn't tell you this but.. fuck it."

He glanced back over to Quackity who was staring at him confused, "Here's my confession..."
Wilbur looked back over Las Nevadas, "I'm kinda hooked on you and in the mood for an obsession..."

Q stared at him with wide eyes and stepped closer to him as he was still looking away, "You might be someone I could love..." Wilbur turned his head back noticing how closer Quackity had gotten before Q grabbed his face and brought the taller down to his eye level.

"Or you're just somebody I fucked once..." He glared at Wil who was a blushing mess and moved their faces closer (569)

Quackity's alarm went off which took his attention away from Wil, "Oh... it's midnight-"

Wilbur looked down at his watch them back at him and grabbed his face forcing eye contact, "Quackity, you might be someone I could love..." they inched their faces closer, "Or you're just somebody I fucked once~"

Their lips met as Quackity rolled his eyes and melted into the kiss along with Wil as they move their body closer then their lips apart.

"Happy new year, Duckling."

"Happy new year, Soot."
