Fields of Gold; Daniel Ricciardo

Party

The place looks amazing. There are so many lights and the stage is all set.
I haven't told Daniel what the music arrangement will be, he'll find out as the night progresses.
I can see most of the drivers have already arrived. Lewis is the first to come and greet us. "Happy birthday again Dan." They shake hands and then Lewis turns to me.
"Holy shit Sky, you look absolutely stunning." He hugs me and whispers in my ear, "you sure you want to stay with this crazy Aussie? I'm here if you want me." He winks as he lets me go and I smile.
"Sure you are. But yeah I'm very sure. But I love you either way, you know that."

We make our way further inside and get greeted along the way by everybody.
Even Sebastian, Valtteri and Fernando are here so we make our way for a quick chat.
Waiters are walking around with trays filled with champagne glasses. I'm not really a fan of champagne, so I decide to go to the bar for something else.
"Babe, do you want a beer or some wine?" I ask Daniel who is still chatting with Seb.
"I'll start with a beer, thanks love."
"Seb can I bring you something?" I look at the German world champion. "Happy birthday by the way!"

He smiles and nods, "I would love a beer, but I can get it myself. And thanks. I didn't even have to plan a party for myself."
"No it's fine, I'm going anyways, I'll be right back." I head over to the bar which seems to be made out of milky glass with blue led lights.
I order our drinks and I decide to start with a cocktail. We will be driven back to the hotel after the party so I can have a few drinks.
I see Charlotte and Charles walking my way so I wave them over.
"Charlotte! Oh you look hot!" I give her a hug and I hear Charles whistle.
"Miss Skylar Hayes, how on earth did you manage to get here in that dress without Daniel ripping it off you?" He grins.

"Well he didn't rip it, but I can't say it didn't affect him. We were supposed to be a bit earlier." I wink at him and they both shake their heads laughing.
"You two are a bunch of rabbits." Charlotte laughs and I can't disagree.
The bartender puts the drinks on the bar and I manage to take all 3 of them.
When I get back at Daniel and Seb I see Max and Kelly have joined them.
"Hey guys!" I shout walking up to them.
They turn around and I see two sets of eyes almost pop out of their sockets.

"Damn girl, this is next level hot!" Kelly compliments me before giving me a hug. "Thanks Kells, you look pretty damn sexy yourself." I turn to Max to greet him as well.
"Hi Max, you scrub up nicely." He gives me a kiss on the cheek after complimenting my looks as well.
"Babe I have to check something, I'll be back in a bit ok?" He looks a bit surprised, but nods.
"Ok love, don't be too long I want to show you off tonight." He makes me blush the way he's looking at me so I quickly move to him to give him a kiss.

I try to make it a quick one, but he wraps one arm around my waist and holds me while deepening the kiss. His tongue seeks acces to my mouth and I grant him that. While our tongues dance around each other I can't help a soft moan escape. Breaking the kiss Daniel moves his mouth to my ear, "my pants are getting very tight again. You're going to be the end of me someday."
"Trust me, I feel the same. I'm glad I don't have to worry about a boner showing." After a quick peck on his cheek I move to the backstage area.

I go in a dressing room where I find my band mates from Duke. "Guys oh my god I'm so happy to see you!" I greet them all with a hug.
"Hey if our girl needs us we're here. And we are super honored to be playing at Daniels party."
I called them when I was arranging the surprise for Friday. The team and I decided to plan this entire party as well. Daniel has no idea, but I'll be performing with my band first for about an hour. There will be a DJ in between and a special guest who will be here in a bit.
I have to be on in half an hour so we quickly go through the setlist.
With 20 minutes left I make my way back to Daniel.
