Her first flight

Daniel is about to land back in Nice and I am waiting in the private lounge area with Phoenix until he comes in. She's a week old now and I just really wanted to surprise Daniel by being here with her.
I feel great, of course I'm tired, but my body is definitely recovering very well, yes I'm still bleeding, but not super heavy and that's all normal.
My boobs are producing really well, usually Phoenix takes about 30 minutes drinking from both breasts and then she's full. I heard some people have to sit for an hour, 30 minutes on either side, so again I feel very lucky.

I made sure to arrive before she got hungry again, or at least I tried. She started to get fussy when we were almost here, but I fed her and now she's napping again. Hopefully she will wake up once Daniel is here.
He has no idea I came here. He might think it's too early, but we're not in the crowded area of the airport, so no fans or loads of people around us.

Kelly and Charlotte are also here and they are gushing over Phoenix. Penelope came with Kelly and she adores the little baby as well. I can only hope Kelly and Max will start a family together as well, to give P a brother or sister. I know she would love that.
We see the plane land and make its way to the gate.
My heart starts to beat a bit faster, knowing I'll have my husband with me very soon.

My phone starts to beep as I get a text.
It's Daniel 'Hey baby, we just arrived at the gate. I'm coming home. Can't wait to see my two girls again. Love you! X'
I decide to reply, 'We can't wait either. Love you handsome. X'

He won't be able to see me until he actually comes through the sliding doors, but I do see him get out of the plane followed by Michael, Max, Charles and Lando who all came back on Max his plane.
Phoenix is waking up so that's nice for Daniel, when he sees her.
They have walked into the airport and are only seconds away from walking through the door.
My heart is now racing and I feel a slight blush when I think about being able to kiss him again. I know it has only been a few days, but with him away it's like a part of me is missing.

The doors open and first Max walks in, his eyes pop out, but he doesn't say anything.
Daniel is looking to his side talking to Michael, but Michael does spot me and Phoenix and a massive smile appears on his face.
Daniel looks confused, "what are you smiling about?"
I see Michael nod his head in my direction to let Daniel know he might want to look up.
Which he does and I will never forget his face when he sees me.

His entire face lights up, his smile is broader than usual and his eyes actually start to tear up.
"Hi handsome, welcome home." I smile and he drops everything when he takes three big steps to get to me.
"Oh it's so good to see you, god I've missed the two of you." He looks down at his daughter who is looking up at him. I know she can't really see him yet, but it just looks like she can.

As I put his daughter in his arms he just melts. He buries his nose in the crook of her neck to inhale the baby scent. I know she has a clean diaper so he actually smells her and no dirty nappie.
"Oh my sweet baby girl. God I've missed you so much." After kissing her on her cheeks he turns to me.
"And I've missed you too of course, come her so I can kiss you."

I lean into him and when I feel his warm lips on mine my heart skips a few beats. I am still so deeply in love with him, especially now I've been without him a few days it hits me even harder that I just can't live without him.
He lets his tongue touch the seam of my lips so I part them to give him access.
Before I ever kissed him I thought I knew what good kissing was, but since the first time our lips touched I know nobody ever came close. He truly is the best kisser.
Once we break apart we head to the car after saying goodbye to the others.

They will come over in a couple of days to have dinner with us and have some time to really cuddle with Phoenix.
"Come on let's get her in the car before she gets hungry." He says, but I smile.
"I fed her just before you landed. So she should be ok for a while."
Michael rides with us, he sits in the back next to his niece and she grabs his finger which she doesn't let go until we are home.
