15 years later:

I guess it would never be an option leaving the racing world behind us completely. And we never really wanted to, because that is what brought us together. That was what gave me so many friends who feel more like family. That was what gave me my own family. My husband and our three kids.

And now we are back to where it all began. In the paddock where Morgan has his first race in F3. Red Bull has offered him a seat in their junior team, he will be driving for MP Motorsport and hopefully he will be able to move up to F2 in a year or 2 and who knows, if he succeeds there, Max will have a seat for him in F1.
Christian has retired a couple of years ago, Dr Marko passed away 10 years ago and now Max is team principal.

We have been enjoying a quiet life on the farm for the last 15 years, raising our kids.
Phoenix is almost 18 now.
She has followed in my footsteps, but went a bit further. She's studying to become a vet in Melbourne and even though she has been quite successful karting, it wasn't where her heart lay.
I guess, us having a horse rescue center might have influenced that a bit.

After seeing how the wild brumbies were slaughtered as some people think of them as pests, we decided to start a Brumby rescue.
We had some people against us at first, but eventually there was more support as we bought the horses from slaughter houses to train them and eventually a lot of them found new homes as working horses or even as family horses. They are strong and once properly trained they make great horses to ride.
We kept a few as Phoenix has also got a great talent with horses. She just has a natural feeling for animals and their behavior, which will help her a lot when she becomes a vet.

Rain is now an older horse, but she has given us 4 stunning foals. They have all grown up to amazing horses and one was actually bought by Gina Schumacher who is a Reining champion and they have been very successful together.

Morgan inherited his fathers love for racing and also his talent, at least that's how we feel. He is almost fearless and keeps pushing himself to the limits. That's why he is now in F3, Lando is his manager. After winning 4 championships with Red Bull he decided to quit and once Morgan was old enough he became his manager.
Daniel would have wanted to do that, but after butting heads with his son about some choices they decided it was best that Lando would take over and he has been doing a great job.

Morgan now lives in an apartment in the UK, but sometimes he stays in our Monaco home.
It was so hard for me to let him move across the globe, I now know how Grace and Joe must have felt when Daniel moved away. But I also know I have to let him go to pursue his dream and we visit him as often as we can. Besides Lando is looking out for him, not that Lando ever grew up.
I don't even know who is the most mature one, Lando or Morgan.

And then there's our youngest, our daughter Brianna, she is 14 years now and is a free spirit. She loves life and she loves to sing. Everybody keeps saying she inherited my singing talent, but I think she's much better than I ever was.
She's still so young though, but she really wants to be a singer.
She's very sensible and actually reminds me a lot of my best friend whose name she carries.

Bri's girls are now 16 years old, they grew up at the farm where Lewis lived with them in the cottage. Lewis still lives there, together with his new wife Tess. She is absolutely lovely, they've been together for 10 years now and are married for 8. They never had children of their own because Tess couldn't have children, but she raised those girls as if they were hers.
What I love most about her is that she always talks to them about Bri. She never wanted to replace her, but she has been a wonderful mother figure for Molly and Lilly.
