Fields of Gold; Daniel Ricciardo

I did something

Walking back in I see most people still having a great time on the dance floor. Waiters are walking around with trays of food, I quickly grab something, because I'm pretty hungry after our work out from just now.
We get a drink from the bar and then head back to our friends. We join Seb, Charles and Carlos.
"Hi guys, having fun?" I ask them innocently.
"Not as much as you." Seb winks and my cheeks turn hot and red.
"Sorry?" Please don't let him be saying what I think he is.

"Well the music is loud, but not that loud." He grins and I wish there was a sinkhole right now where I could disappear in.
He can tell I'm embarrassed and tries to comfort me, "I don't think everyone heard it. We're just really close to that door where you both disappeared through, so that's why we heard you, but hey, be happy, it sounded like he was doing really well, as he should."

"Oh god." I look at Daniel, but he doesn't seem to be too bothered by it. He's probably proud, because Seb says he did a good job.
"I think I just heard you scream that." Charles teases and I punch him on the shoulder.
"Screw you Charles, I hope you make Charlotte scream like that, at least you know you'll be doing a good job then." I can tell by the look on his face he is now questioning himself and he starts to look for Charlotte.
I turn to Daniel, "I'll be right back."

I go backstage and I find the special guest getting ready. I'm a bit star struck, but I try to stay cool.
"Hi! I'm so happy you wanted to be here."
He turns to me and we shake hands.
"No problem, I'm looking forward to it. I don't think I've ever played in front of so many F1 drivers before." He smiles.
"I can go introduce you if you are ready?" I ask and he nods picking up his guitar.

I walk up to the stage again to the microphone stand. "Everyone! Can I have your attention please. First off all I want to thank each and every one of you for being here. This night has been a blast so far and it's not over yet." Everybody cheers as it's still early and nobody is ready to go home yet.

"Second, Daniel, love of my life. It's hard to put into words how much you mean to me. You are my rock, you are my soulmate, you are my person and my best friend. And let's not forget, you're amazing in the bedroom." I wink as everyone starts to laugh.
"There's nothing I wouldn't do for you, I still pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming. After what happened with Shane I didn't expect to fall this hard for anybody ever again. But there you were, you stole my heart and gave me yours. I love you more than words can express and I can't wait for what's to come.

I blow him a kiss and he pretends to catch it.
"I have one last surprise, he's one of the best singers around today. We all know his songs and they are amazing. So please make some noise for Ed Sheeran!"
The singer comes out and everyone just loses it. I still don't know how I managed to get him here. Somebody from the team called his manager, explained what the plan was and probably offered quite some money to get Ed to perform here.
The next day I got a call from Ed himself, asking me about today and after about 30 minutes he accepted to come and now he's going to sing at Daniels party.

"Hiya folks, Daniel happy birthday mate. You've got quite a remarkable woman there. Don't fuck it up." I made my way back to Daniel and he puts his arm around my waist pulling me close to him.
"I won't, don't worry about it."
Ed starts to play and he is amazing. He starts off with 'Bad Habits' so we can dance. Some more up tempo songs follow, but then he slows things down a bit.

"Those were some lovely words up there baby, you're my person as well and I am never going to leave you." We kiss while we are dancing in each others arms.
