3 || FIRST DAY

VIRAHI'S POV:

Sighing I stood infront of my college main gate. The first day of my college. Ugh..I hate it, I legit hate first days. No friends, nothing new, just sit at the corner of your classroom with a stupid face. But yeah, I had a reputation of making friends so quickly and easily, so I thought I could do it. No, Siera didn't come with me, today she would come at the noon cause she didn't have any class in the morning so I needed to make it up for myself.

Grabbing my bag over my shoulders tightly, I confidently walked through the main gate to meet my dear college. Woah, it was huge and the college was incredibly beautiful. I took almost 1 minute to admire the college campus and the atmosphere when I heard,

"Hey..! Are you a freshman?"

I flinched and kicked off my thoughts and turned my head towards the source of the voice and I saw a pretty girl with a charming smile standing there with some books in her hand holding closely near her chest.

"Hey...", The girl said again waving her hands infront of my face, "...are you alright?"

Oh gosh, was I staring at her for too long? But I must admit she was pretty.

I laughed nervously and said, "Nah, I'm fine but you are really pretty!"

The girl chuckled shyly and said, "Ahh.. thanks.."

I gave her a thumbs up and a 'that's okay' smile. The girl laughed and then asked,

"What's your name by the way?"

"Oh! I'm Virahi Williams, what's yours?"

I asked while we both started to walk towards the campus.

"Wow, such a pretty name with a cute face. I'm Naomi Watson."

I laughed off at her sentence and said, "Don't exaggerate."

"No, I'm not dude!", She said and slightly pushed me with her shoulder.

"So, are you a freshman?", She asked me again.

"Yeah and it's my first day at college."

"Oh, hey me too...but I came yesterday. Nice to meet you, Virahi!", She said enthusiastically and brought her hand forward for a hand shake.

I gladly received it and said, "Nice to meet you too, Naomi."

"So are we friends now?", She asked like a child.

I giggled and said, "Of course! Why not!"

"So let me show you the college and- wait what's your major?"

"Architecture."

Naomi closed her mouth with her palm in shock and then held my hands tightly saying, "ME too!!"
