41 || RECOVERY

THIRD PERSON'S POV:

Sam Williams was still in the emergency ward. No news from the doctors. Everyone was just living each minutes like years.

Finally, a doctor came out of the ward and said, "Are you all from Sam Williams family?"

"Y-yes doctor! How is he?!" Kohima Williams had no patience.

The doctor smiled a little and said, "Do not worry, the danger has passed...we are glad that the patient was brought in the right time...though he still need time to wake up..maybe today evening or tomorrow morning.."

Everyone released a sigh of relief.

"God, I thought I would die the way I was holding my breath! Phew!" Stephan said as he fake wiped the sweats from his forehead.

Everyone laughed at his silliness.

"Wait but where are Virahi and Christen?" Christy asked.

"We are here guys.."

Everyone looked behind and saw Virahi and Christen coming towards them.

"Woahh...is something happening between you two??" Stephan asked.

Virahi laughed and said, "Ayo no...I love Siera Williams only.. "

"Awwww..."

Everyone awed and Virahi blushed.

"How is father now??" Virahi asked, changing the subject.

"Yeah...no more danger now but he can gain consciousness today evening or tomorrow.." Mrs. Williams said.

Virahi's smile grew warmer.

Thankfully, Sam Williams woke up this evening. Everyone was quite happy, he also could talk and smile little bit. But Mrs. Williams seemed kind of sad. She was standing in a far corner. Virahi noticed it and called out,

"What mother? Why are you standing there? Come here...talk to us!"

Mrs. Williams startled by the sudden call and there was a brief eye contact between Sam and her.

Virahi understood tye hesitation so she went closer to her and took her near Sam's bed.

"I guess they should talk a bit privately.." Virahi said and everyone agreed. They all went out.

After they came out of the ward, Anna asked, "Is she Siera's biological mother?"

Virahi nodded while smiling.

"Where's your mother? Siera's step mom?" Lucas asked suddenly.

Virahi's smiled dropped and she looked everywhere but them. Nicole sensed the awkwardness and took the role,

"Well...she wasn't Virahi's actual mother...you know, there was a mafia involvement yesterday night and that's why they are injured. Virahi and that lady previously was assigned for spying on Mr. Williams that's why they pretended to be mother-daughter. But the story twisted and Virahi fell for Siera and vice versa. Mrs. Warner and the gang leader is now under arrest.."

Everyone was thrilled and nodded.

"Woahh...it's just like some action movies!!" Stephan exclaimed.

"Yeah...but whatever ...everything now under control and that's good...let's go and check Siera.." Christy said and they all went to her ward. But Virahi stood there. She glanced at the door of Mr. Williams's ward and smiled. Then headed to Siera's ward.

"Sam...how are you feeling now?" Kohima asked softly.

Sam smiled and nodded slowly. Kohima held his both hands which were over his stomach. Sam got shocked but didn't act impulsively. She squeezed his hands tightly as the brim of her eyes started to fill with tears.

"Sam...please believe me when I'm saying I love you.." She said and took Sam's to her lips and kissed them. He slowly sat up straight leaning against the pillows.

"I know I was terribly wrong...so much wrong but I'm always there to do all for your forgiveness. I still wanted to be claimed as your wife, I still wanted to be loved only by you because whatever happens there's only one shelter for me, it's you..I am weak, I was always...please let me hide behind your wings...I just wanted nothing but a sweet, secure place in you.."

Sam stayed quite for some minutes then slowly said, "You know what Kohi, even after thousands of times death and reborn, I can never stop loving you enough..."

Kohima sobbed harder holding his hands.

"I know...I know...that is exactly why it hurts much more...I still can never love you the way you do...but I'll always stay with you.."

Sam smiled and patted her head.

"You wanna know the whole story? That-"

"No.." Sam said and nodded his head slowly. "Let the past stay in the past. It doesn't need us, instead our future need us more.."

With glistening eyes, Kohima looked at her husband with more love and then hugged him.

"Our future needs us.." Kohima whispered while smiling.

Friends of Siera left for their own works after talking for good 10 minutes. The atmosphere is refresh again. Now only Virahi and Siera was there in the room.

There was a short pause. Then Virahi walked closer and held her hand. Though Siera didn't protest still she didn't look at the way.

"I know, you are still angry upon me....but Siera believe me, everything I did, my behavior and everything was planned. I planned to walk on their path for some short hours just to gain their trust and protect you guys...if I didn't do those they will kill us all already...I never pretended to love you, care for you...all I did was from heart...I never played with your feelings. I returned them to you with the same desire and love. There was no feigning. You are the someone who is all of my truths and beautiful lies. Even if I can't convey the same love as you do for me, but believe me when I say I love you.."

Siera looked down somehow sad and replied only with a 'hmm'.

Virahi smiled a little. Then, without Siera understanding anything, she held her chin and connected her lips with hers. She kissed the same spot where her wound was and sucked on it.

Siera finally closed her eyes and let it feel again. She let the stream of her love flow again in the mountain of her heart.

The kiss was passionate, sweetened in love and many more that couldn't be described but be felt.

They parted away and Virahi kissed her on her forehead, her eyes, her nose, chin and then pecked her lips again.

She connected their foreheads and said, "This feels like home...you are mine and I'm all yours.."
