30 || PAST OF VIRAHI

VIRAHI'S POV:

I turned my face to the window not letting my guards down that I was kind of scared infront of Mrs. Warner.

Flashes from my fragmented past started to conjure up in my mind. I sighed quietly.

||FLASHBACK ||

THIRD PERSON'S POV:

"Don't cry...don't..shush baby...we bought you home.." A womanly voice said while carrying a baby around 1 and half.

"So she is what you got?" A man said.

"Yes, and thought of bringing her. She is too young to be left alone.." The woman said.

The man scoffed. "How unfortunate, but what can I do? Everyone who tries to get in my path...they need to d-"

"Sir, some people came to meet you. They are urging to meet you right now even though I said that boss can't meet now." One guard interrupted.

The man turned around and glanced at the guard and gestured him to get out. The guard bowed and went out.

"Take care of the baby.." The man said to the woman and left.

This woman was Mrs. Warner and the baby in her hands was Virahi, and her parents got died in a...car accident.

"Come on, Virahi! Yes you got this...yes, yes...you are walking! Good job baby!" Mrs. Warner said cheerfully as Virahi came to her while walking tiny steps.

Since then, Mrs. Warner started to take care of the baby as she never married anyone after her husband died in lung cancer, a long time ago; and having Virahi she still somehow got over her lonesome. While playing with Virahi, she heard a knock on her door.

"Yes, come in.." She said.

And there, who came inside her room was Mr. Miller. Well, Shawn Miller.

"Oh, boss...sorry, do you have any work for me?" Mrs. Warner asked while standing up hurriedly.

"Mhm...yes. I do.." He said while watching Virahi playing and giggling.

Mrs. Warner glanced at Virahi then asked, "What is it?"

Mr. Miller looked at her and said, "Since you now became a single mother, I have an interesting plan for you."

Mrs. Warner frowned.

"Well, you need to marry again." Mr. Miller's voice darkened. Mrs. Warner widened her eyes.

"W-what?" She said in whisper.

"Well, not any random man. You need to marry someone whom I know for a long time and that man himself tangled himself in this dirty world of mine...he needs to be punished.." He said while smirking.

"W-what now, boss? Please tell me all.." Her voice trembled.

"You gonna marry this man after Virahi will turn two. I told one of my men in this crew to search up Virahi's all information and they found that her birthday is on 20th June..."
