14 || DANGER ON THE WAY

SIERA'S POV:

We were about make it our first when Virahi's phone rang. Flinching, we parted away and I sighed in frustration. Virahi smiled lightly also kinda pissed but checked her phone. It was from Naomi she told.

She opened the message and from the changing of her expressions, I guessed something was wrong. Because she was looking concerned after reading the message. I asked her holding her shoulder,

"Is everything fine?"

Virahi looked at me with fear in her eyes and said, "We need to head off right now...Christen is badly injured and is admitted to hospital!"

I widened my eyes and and before I could process anything Virahi quickly wrapped a jacket around her and left the room.

"Quick, Siera!" She shouted while running downstairs.

I held a fistful of my hair and cursed under my breath. Fuck...does it need to be happened now? Agh..

But even being annoyed I went downstairs and went out with Virahi. I was in my sweatpants and shirt so I didn't bother to change again.

I pulled out our car from the garage and Virahi got up in the passenger's seat. I started to drive when Virahi called Naomi again to get the location..

"Hey Naomi! Tell me the location.."

After some moments she hung up and told me the location. I drove off to the hospital.

It was 6:30 in the evening and we reached to the hospital. We went to the receptionist and asked her the ward number of Christen. We thanked her and got there.

There we saw Naomi was sitting on the waiting bench covering her face in her palms while supporting her elbows on her knees. Virahi worriedly went near her and hugged her. Naomi lifted up her face and seeing Virahi she broke down crying.

"It will be alright...don't worry...but tell me how did he get injured? He was fine when we were returning home?"

Naomi broke the hug and after sniffing multiple times she started to relate the incident..

| NAOMI'S POV |

I and Christen were driving back to home after dropping Virahi. Well, we did a little hang out today and told Virahi that I was dating Christen. She was shocked and happy. Her shocking face was priceless. I smiled while thinking about today. We had quite fun.

As I was seating on the passenger's seat, I felt a hand on my thigh. I looked at it and then Christen. He was focused in driving plus holding my thigh. He then looked at me and said,

"Nini..do you want any ice-cream? There's a huge ice-cream shop on the way...and its kinda famous..", He said and gave me a smile glancing at me.

Wow- nice nickname...Nini...but I pretended as if I wasn't flustered.

"Oh, that will be nice!", I said excitedly.

Then after a minute he stopped the car by a beautiful and cute ice-cream shop. It was almost evening and the streets lights started to make the city glow with the artificial beauty.
