"You absolutely could have. You're amazing, Belle. Now go get ready." He kissed me again and released me, letting me started automatically walking towards the locker rooms where I was supposed to change with the rest of the girls.

I passed Jack, who just nodded at me. Ben, Matt, and Kyle were standing with him. Each of them congratulated me in their own special way. Drew was nowhere to be found.

Trying not to think anything of it, I swung myself into the girls locker room, seeing Savannah touching her up makeup and Tara fixing Avery's hair.

Our outfits were killer, if I could say so myself. Black was our connecting color. Tara wore a loose black crop top depicting a wolf howling at a twilight sky. She wore black leggings and loosely tied combat boots. Her blonde hair fell straight around her shoulders and her bangs brushed the tips of her eyelashes. Avery wore a faux black leather skater skirt with a long sleeve black bodycon crop top. Her shoes were simple black pumps with white bows at the toes. The top of her hair was braided and the rest was a mass of loose dark waves. Savv wore black leggings with leather strips running down the sides. Her shirt was sick; a simple black t shirt with a floral skull that took up the majority of the front. Her hair was straight and Luke's black snapback was on her head backwards.

Savannah had leant me the entire outfit I was wearing. My clothes weren't exactly intimidating. Most of it was girly and southern, not urban and dark. I had on shorts that were half white and half black, with a white skeleton handprint on the black half of the butt. I wore a black tank top with a light grey sweatshirt that had a leather vest attached to it. I wore black knee socks with sneakers that had a wedge heel built in. I didn't know Savv owned half of this stuff. I wore my hair plain like usual.

"We're on in 5 girls. Let's head out." Tara told us, looking at the clock. Quickly, we admired our handiwork in the mirror. We looked like a legitimate girl group. We were put together and fierce. It was time to show Nowheresville, USA what we've got.

Walking out of the locker room earned us plenty of confused looks from the crowd. The principal quieted the murmuring crowd and waited for us to take our places backstage. "Now the next artists tonight are a girl group consisting of four of our very own students. Please welcome Tara Norton, Savannah Peters, Belle Crawford, and Avery Kendrick of R!ot!"

The crowd gave some halfhearted claps, except for our parents and boyfriends. We strode onto the stage. Each of the other girls wore a slightly pissed of, determined looking face. I decided to wear the same. We had decided that the talking tonight would be done by Savv and Avery.

Avery lifted her microphone to her lips. "We are R!ot. Born right here in Enterprise, Alabama!" Nothing like a little hometown pride to get the crowd pumped up.

Savv smirked, "All I want to ask is....Enterprise, how ya doinnnnnn'?" A bunch of girlish shrieks went up, knowing the saucy song originally by Little Mix. The background track played, a sound of a ringing telephone filling the schoolyard. And we began:

Hey, how ya doin'? Sorry you can't get through

Why don't you leave your name and your number?

And we'll get back to you (ooh)

Ain't got no time for what you think can be described as love

I've cut your hold on me, you're missing me, I've had enough

It's been so long since you have treated me like I deserved

So long, baby, I'm gone

You can leave a message for me after the tone

You called, I missed it

You called, I missed it,

You called, and I missed it,
