I had never been to the Falcon's Stadium before, and it was much bigger than I thought. It was a huge grey and red geometric design, loosely resembling a star. It was one of the sickest things I had ever seen, a very appropriate location for a rock concert. Luke drove around to the back, and flashed a pass at the security guards. They directed him to a parking space off to the side, and Luke turned to me after the car was shut off. "You ready, Jasey?"
"Don't call me that in front of them you goof." I rolled my eyes and hopped out of the car. My red converse hit the tarmac and I breathed in the refreshingly warm air and waited for Luke to get out of the car.
He came around the side with a big smile plastered on his face. He was wearing All Time Low merch as well, a black t shirt with cartoon characters of the boys on the front. He also refused to leave the house without his trusty torn black skinny jeans and all-black converse. He threw an arm around my shoulder and we walked into the backstage.
I was expecting pre-show chaos, not the jokes and pieces of guitar riffs that seemed to be coming from every corner of the room. The first person I was a not entirely clothes Jack Barakat. He had on just a towel around his waist and he was currently messing with his two toned hair.
"Oh shit." He looked at Luke and I, then tightened his grip on his tiny towel. "Uh, guys? Luke and his girly-friend are here."
Rian and Alex emerged next, both wearing large smiles. Alex was the first to come over to us, "So you're the famous Savannah?"
"In the flesh." I told him.
Alex looked at Luke, "Good to see you man. How's school?"
Luke rolled his eyes, "The semester's almost over, then we hit the road for tour. You know Savv's coming with us."
"Yeah, you've mentioned that in the YouTube videos. Nice work, by the way." Rian pointed at me, "You've got a killer voice."
"Who's got a killer voice?" Zack Merrick asked, coming around the corner. My heart did a little tap dance when Zack came out. He was my favorite member. He was even better looking up close, and I thanked my lucky stars he didn't have a shirt on. "Oh, hey it's Savannah."
"Hi." I smiled, trying to ignore the blood rushing to my head.
"OKAY. I am back and I have pants on." Jack announced, coming to the rest of the group, fully clothed this time. "Fuck, she's prettier in real life."
Luke just chuckled, "Yeah, that happens sometimes."
"You guys wanna sit down?" Alex asked, gesturing to the semicircle of couches in the middle of the room. Luke and I nodded, so we went over. I sat across from Alex and Jack, with Luke on my left, and Zack and Rian on my right. Luke's arm was still draped over my shoulder, holding me close to him.
"How old are you?" Jack asked.
"Eighteen." I answered.
"So if she's legal that means you guys have-"
"Jack!" Alex interrupted, "We aren't asking about their sex life right off the bat."
Rian rolled his eyes, "Excuse him, Jack knows no boundaries."
"THAT is true. You learn to live with it." Jack kicked his feet on the coffee table in front of him. "Savannah, tell us about yourself."
"Uh, okay." I said, not really expecting to give my life story to my favorite band. "I don't know, honestly. I'm kind of boring."
"She's not boring." Luke said, "Talk about volleyball, or your music, or bands. C'mon babe." Luke coaxed me out of my shell.
"We would not be opposed to volleyball." Alex raised an eyebrow, signature smile not leaving his face.
