"Where the hell are the bags?" I angrily grumbled standing with a ton of other people at baggage claim. Luke and I were standing with Tara while Avery, Savv, and Belle had left to find a bathroom and no doubt got distracted by god knows what.
"I'm sure they're still unloading stuff. Don't worry about it." Tara's optimism soothed my fears for the moment, but losing luggage was not something I wanted to deal with right now.
I groaned, but my attention was regained when the conveyor belt began to move and luggage came out in heaps. I was feverishly looking for my own black bag with different types of ribbon tied on it and Belle's orange suitcase. Luke was looking for his own bag with a large penguin sewn on the bag and Savv's bright purple suitcase. Tara found her pink bag almost immediately and grabbed Avery's blue checkered suitcase as well.
Luke was frantically running around the carousel looking for his and Savv's bag. I caught sight of Belle's but didn't see my own yet. "Looking for these?" Belle asked. She walked up with my suitcase trailing behind her. Savv was walking along with both hers and Luke's rolling along behind her. Avery rushed over and took her suitcase from Tara. Each of the girls had large smiles on their faces.
Savv gave Luke his suitcase and kissed him. He looked down at her fondly. Belle came up and laced her fingers with mine, giving me my bag as well. "Thanks, Bells." The six of us walked out of the terminal and made our way to the front door. Outside, there was a huge black escalade and two familiar faces just outside the terminal. Ashton and Calum stood, leaning against the car, waiting for us.
"MIKEYYYYY!" Ashton yelled while Cal did the same for Luke. I dropped Belle's hand so she didn't get tackled while Ashton ran into me with the force of an 18 wheeler.
"Ash! Cal! Shit we missed you guys." I said after hugs had been exchanged.
"It's been soooo long." Luke agreed. "I had band separation issues."
"Well you couldn't have been suffering that much." Calum gestured to the partially shocked partially amused group of 4 girls. Half of them were smirking at us, and half of them looked a little surprised by our bromance PDA. He walked over and introduced himself to all the girls, "Hey guys, I'm Calum and I play bass for the band. Well, not your band. My band. I'm gonna stop talking now."
"I'm Ash and I play drums. Not for your band." Ashton threw in as he stood next to Calum and looked at the girls.
"Hey I'm Savv." Savannah walked over and smiled. Ashton awkwardly shook her hand, but Savv just laughed. Calum hugged her, which made Savv look like she was going to faint. I kept forgetting how much of a fan she was.
"Lukey's girlfriend in the flesh. Nice work, mate." Calum shot Luke a thumbs up.
Belle went next, shyly introducing herself to the boys. "I'm Belle."
Ash gave her an enormous hug, "Oh please, we know who all of you are." He let her go and pointed to each of the girls individually. "Dating Luke, dating Mike. You're Avery and you've got a really strong voice for someone so short. And you're Tara, the lone blonde and quite the pianist I hear."
"Yeah that's us." Avery said. Both boys hugged her.
"How did you know I play the piano?" Tara asked after receiving her hugs.
"How often are you in Twitter?" Calum asked.
Tara shrugged, "Not too often. Why?"
"I highly suggest you become more active on Twitter." Ash recommended with a giggle. "Alrighty, everyone get in the car because we've got a pool party to start and the 1D boys are waiting."
