"Do I actually have to wear this?" I asked, giving Savannah an annoyed glare. She had me outfitted in a tight red bodycon and suede black heels. I really didn't want to wear this, especially not to an LA party.
"C'mon Bells it'll be fun. They're throwing us a 'welcome to the label' party at 'Lite' and so many famous people will be there." Savv threw her best pouty face at me. "Puh-Lease?"
I rolled my eyes, "Fine, fine. If Chris Hemsworth is there I get dibs."
She held up her hands, "Hey, I respect that. You could totally take his wife down."
I laughed and looked at myself in the mirror some more, "Fuck yeah I can. What are you wearing?"
Savv shot me a devilish grin before pulling out a new black dress from her/Luke's shared closet. It was a black dress with sheer sleeves, back, and a little rectangle running across the bottom of her ribs. Other than that, fabric was covering all of her essentials. "You like it?"
"Luke sure will. Jesus, where do you get these things?" I asked. Target didn't have shit like that.
"I've got my places." She waggled her eyebrows before stripping down and putting the dress on. It hugged her nicely, which meant it would fit me too if I ever decided I needed to wear that. Which I wouldn't. She stared at herself in the mirror next to me and slung an arm around my neck, "Prettiest girls in the business?"
"Fo-sho." I laughed at our reflection. Up in the right hand corner of the mirror, I saw Savannah had already started to put some personal things up. The biggest picture was one of us in the 5th grade, neon skinny jeans and graphic t shirts. We were standing in the same position we were in now, except Savv had on glasses and my braces had just been put on. We were quite the sight, and I looked back at my reflection. 'You've come so far, Arabella' my brain seemed to assure me.
"Lets go get Tara and Avery. They said they didn't need to borrow anything, so I left them alone. You want me to do your hair really quick?" Savv asked, breaking me out of my thoughts. I nodded, and she did a woven fishtail braid down the side of my hair and wrapped the back up in a bun. She straightened her own and grabbed her heels and clutch, not ready to put them on yet.
We walked downstairs, arm in arm, and saw the rest of our party waiting for us. The 1D boys were all dressed similarly, white shirt with a blazer, dress pants, and dress shoes. Liam had his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, showing off his tattoos. Zayn had his collar undone slightly and was wearing a leather jacket. Instead of a white dress shirt, Louis had on a graphic t shirt. Harry looked the most professional of them all, and his jaw absolutely dropped when Savannah came into view. I thought I caught Louis staring at me, but I brushed it off.
Michael wrapped both his arms around me, and I was surprised he was semi-dressed up. He was wearing a Metallica raglan with a leather jacket and black jeans. "You look really fucking hot." He whispered in my ear and nipped at my neck.
I squealed and playfully batted him away. "You don't look too bad yourself, babe." I looked at the rest of the 5sos boys, and none of them looked out of place. Ashton was wearing a velvet-y blazer with a grey bandana, Calum matched Harry with a dress shirt and a suit jacket, and Luke wore a black button up with a leather jacket. He and Savv were both decked out in black, making them look much more badass than they actually were.
Tara and Avery came down shortly, and I was stunned to see them as well. Tara wore a shimmering champagne colored dress that stopped mid thigh. It was tight around her bottom, but got looser with a low back long sleeves. Avery wore a halter blue dress, which hugged her figure and was gathered high on the neck. Tara's hair was curled and Avery did hers in an intricate twist with some tendrils framing her face. We all looked pretty damn good.
