Quinn sat on her bed, filling out her homework after a long day. She heard a knock on her door and lifted her head from her papers. "Come in!" she called gently. Her door cracked open and Jasper poked his head in, his hands filled with his own homework. She smiled gently, sitting up. "If you're gonna ask me to do your homework, I don't do that," she teased, watching Jasper walk in. He chuckled and shook his head.

"No, no it's not that, can we go over what happened in math class? I didn't understand what he was saying," he stated, brushing his pencil behind his ear. Quinn smiled a bit more, nodding her head.

"Come sit," she said gently, patting the spot beside her on her bed. He cracked a smile and sat beside her, opening up his workbook. She watched him as he explained his struggles with the questions, motioning with his hands as he spoke. Quinn sighed gently, her eyes landing on the scabs on his face and the ones that littered his knuckles. She felt guilty about the whole situation. Yes, she didn't know him very well before all this but she saw him in class with new bruises almost every day and she wanted to ask if he was okay but that terrified her too.

She was scared of confrontation. She always was even as a kid. When she was younger she was diagnosed with social anxiety and PTSD just after being taken in by Caroline. She was grateful Caroline was able to help, Jasper and Lizzie, even when she believed she should have done something earlier. Most of her guilt came from what happened at the party. She should have noticed he was drunk. She should have seen his deminer change before she went to the bathroom. She should have been able to stop what happened to him-

"Quinn?" Jasper asked, casting his gaze onto her. She snapped out of her thoughts and looked up at him. "You all good?" he asked. She smiled, hiding her worries away.

"Sorry, lost track of my thoughts," she stated, grabbing her notes.

"Here you can borrow these, I'm horrible at explaining things verbally but these should make sense" she scrunched her face and chuckled a bit. He nodded, taking the notes from her. His fingers grazed hers and he smiled a bit. "Thanks, I'll leave you to your work," he stated and got up, his face growing warm once his face was faced away from her. "Hopefully dinner isn't soon, I was just getting into it." she chuckled as she layed back into her previous position on her stomach. He chuckled a bit as he walked out of her room and closed the door behind him. He walked back into his room and sat down, placing his notes across his bed by his books. He proceeded to pull his headphones on and get to work, that lingering touch still vibrating at his fingertips. Her hand was warm.
