Jasper looked up at Spiderman and gulped, tears falling. "Yuh... yuh I'm fine, great even," he muttered. Spidey tilted his head and sat beside him.
"Well those tears don't look like you are, same with the bruise forming on your cheek," Spidey stated, motioning to his own face as he looked at Jasper's. "What happened?" he asked. Jasper shrugged, leaning his head back against the pole.
"Nothing a masked hero can fix," Jasper muttered, biting down on his lip. "Nothing really anyone can fix but that's my problem," he stated. Spidey elbowed him gently.
"Hey hey, there's no need to talk that way, I'm sure it'll work itself out," he said gently. Jasper cracked a small smile, his hands resting on his knees as he sat up.
"I didn't realize you were actually this nice Spider-man," Jasper commented, looking over at the masked vigilante.
"How come you're hanging out around here?" Spidey asked, looking around. Jasper shrugged.
"I don't know, grew up around here, don't really have anywhere to go... that actually feels like mine," Jasper hesitantly admitted. "It's dumb," he shook his head.
"It's not dumb," Spidey stated. "Just mean's you haven't found the place, or the right people yet," he stated. Jasper swore he could see a smile under that mask.
"I think I might have an idea where it could be but... I don't know if he wants me there, after I've fucked up so much," Jasper stated. "Never had someone I ever thought of calling dad..." he muttered. "Nevermind... I.. I fucked up with my foster sister and that's where all this shit is coming from.." he explained, pushing away any other feelings except that. Spidey crooked his head.
"Want me to swing you home? Or walk with you at least?" He asked, jumping up and hanging upside down from a branch. Jasper chuckled, looking up at the hero as he got up himself. He wiped his cheeks before grabbing his bag off the ground.
"That would be really nice actually," he commented. Spidey chuckled.
"Swinging or walking?" he asked. A smile stayed on Jasper's face.
"Someone to walk with,"
