Matt carried Jasper back to his apartment, helping the boy lay down as he started regaining consciousness. Jasper groaned, his hand weakly holding his side. "W-what.. what happened.." he whispered, his face swelling up. Matt walked and grabbed an ice pack before handing it to him. He sighed and sat on the coffee table in front of the couch. Jasper hissed as he pressed the ice pack against his head.

"Why were you there, kid," Matt stated. "That's no place for a teenager, especially running drugs" he stated. Jasper glanced over at him, furrowing his brows as he sat up. He didn't understand why a vigilante cared why.

"Why does it matter? Shouldn't you send me to the police?" Jasper asked, groaning as he moved the icepack to his ribs. Matt huffed, pulling his gloves off.

"Because, you're a kid" He stated, getting up and grabbing his first aid kit. Jasper gulped and leaned back against the couch.

"My dad," he stated hesitantly, watching as Matt sat back down across from him. "He wanted me to do his job for tonight after getting in trouble at school" he explained as Matt opened the kit up.

"He didn't want to take the blame for the missing bundles?" Matt stated. Jasper nodded. "Your dad doesn't sound like a good guy" he stated.

"Correct again" Jasper mumbled, chewing his cut lip. "I need to head home," he muttered. He'll kill you for getting caught. Idiot, I need to make sure Izzie's okay. Matt sighed as he pressed an alcohol wipe to Jasper's eyebrow.

"How come? Got someone at home you care about?" Matt stated, ignoring Jasper's hiss as he cleaned his bloody face up. Jasper sighed and nodded, watching Matt discard the cotton ball.

"My little sister, I need to make sure she's okay" he whispered, rubbing his irritated knuckles. She's smaller than him, if he tries something she won't be able to get him off-

"Okay," Matt stated, standing up. He walked into the kitchen and filled a cup full of water. "Drink some water and take some Advil and I can shadow you home.." he trailed off as he walked back into the kitchen. He sighed and set the water down. He tilted his head down at Jasper as he focused in on his heartbeat. It was steady, the boy passed out with his head back against the couch. "God kid.." he mumbled as he helped him lay on the couch. He'll help him home in the morning. He wanted to see if his sister was okay but didn't know where to look.
