Jasper hyperventilated against the duct tape against his mouth, the skin on his wrists going raw from his struggle. He felt like an idiot for going back to the trailer, why did he leave the house in the first place? His thoughts swirled around his head as he squeezed his eyes shut. He couldn't wipe his eyes as he cried silently. He opened his eyes slightly as he watched his father pace around him. He knew he was high out of his mind. He tried to speak, his muffles snapping his father out of his own thoughts. He chuckled and stomped over, grabbing Jasper by the hair as he knelt down.
"You were always such a talker," He mumbled, staring at his son who stared back at him with his eyes full of fear. "I could never get you to shut up," he stated. "But uh, one night you were being a real pain, I was trying to get off but you uh you wouldn't shut it about fucking dragons and gnomes and whatever fuck it was," he scoffed, tracing the gun against his face. "I managed to get some sleep meds crushed up and just knocked you out for the night, wasn't the first and wasn't the last time." he chuckled, his smirk menacing. Jasper knew what he was alluding to and it made him sick, his body shaking as his father kept speaking. "When I got out, fuck I got a text from my phone that must been weeks ago but it was a video, I knew it was you even from that angle, could know you from anywhere you know that son," he whispered. "They must have fucked you up that night," he scoffed. Jasper shook his head, hyperventilating as he pushed against Harrison. He reached up and ripped the duck tape off his face. Jasper yelped, sobbing weakly.
"D-dad stop please," he begged, his tough exterior dissipating as his sobbing grew. He couldn't stop it. Harrison laughed, grabbing his face.
"Where's the tough guy huh?!" he yelled, rattling him around as his grip tightened. Jasper whimpered, his head going fuzzy. Harrison exhaled and kissed his head. "You're pathetic." he snarled, his head pressed against his sons. Jasper tried to pull away, his hands finding his shirt and pushing against it.
"W-why dad..." he whimpered, his hands trembling.
"Why? Why? Because you're ungrateful, you run to the cops even though I kept you out of juvy and kept a roof over your head." He explained, his voice filling every bit of open space around them.
The door on the far side of the room creaked open and Harrisons' head spun towards it. He clicked the safety off the gun and pressed it against Jasper's head.
"Whoever that is you better leave!" he called. "Hate to have a kid dead!" he yelled. Jasper shook his head, his ability to form words lost. Footsteps echoed and he spun around, pulling the trigger. A small cry echoed throughout.
"Jas?" Jasper's eyes widened and he screamed, struggling hard as he watched his baby sister slowly press her hands to her stomach, blood trickling down her torso and onto the floor.
"N-no no no what the fuck did you do!" Jasper screamed, trying to get to her. Harrison exhaled, watching Lizzie fall onto the floor as she struggled to breathe.
"Doesn't matter, not my kid." He muttered. Jasper shook his head, thrashing as Harrison chained him to a pole.
"H-help her god damnit! S-she's gonna die please please," he begged hard, his words mushing through sobs as he pulled against the iron chains. Harrison walked over and kicked her onto her back with his boot as a puddle of blood formed around her. She gripped onto her sweater, small weak sobs breaking from her slowing chest.
"D-dad?" she whimpered, her hands covered in blood as she coughed some up with a sob. He tisked and shook his head.
"Nope. Your moms is a whore and cheated on me. Learned that not so long ago." He snapped, his hand gripping onto the gun. Lizzie whimpered, turning her head as Jasper kept yelling at Harrison, his voice and his pleading becoming static as her vision went dark and her heartstopped.
That stopped Daredevil in his tracks as he made it to the warehouse, his heartshattering as he heard Jasper's screams become louder and more heartbreaking. He was too late.
