"I'm gonna hop in the bath," I announce as I stand from the dinner table. I still had until tomorrow before that Caribou guy busts onto the ship for a fight. I might as well bathe now so I can relax beforehand. I walk to mine and Luffy's room to grab clothes, picking out some loose pajamas for bed. I yawn, heading to the bathroom and shutting the heavy door behind me. I loved the fact that the bath was always ready for whoever needed it- Thanks to Franky, of course. I let out a heavy sigh of tension from the past few days before stripping from the dirty clothes I wore down to my bare body. I dipped my foot into the edge of the bath to test the water temperature. When it was just right I smiled and sunk into the warm liquid.

"This is nice..." I trail as I clean myself. I hummed in thought. Did I really have to get out yet? I frowned at the idea of not getting to relax again after this. I loved being back with the crew and being with Luffy again, but the stress has caused me to overthink, and on top of everything, Oceania has disappeared from me. She doesn't come when I call nor does she send letters or signs that she is even still alive. It makes me wonder if she passed her life force onto me instead of the power she claimed. I climb onto the edge of the tub, leaving my feet and shins dangling off the side and into the water. The room was filled with soap and mist to make it steamy in the room with me. Suddenly the bathroom door opens and before I can react, I am face-to-face with Caribou. I blankly stare at him, blinking a few times before realizing I was very much naked in front of this man. I scream out, throwing my arm over my body and protecting anything from his view.

"What the hell?" I can hear from outside the bathroom.

"Shut her up!" Caribou whisper-shouts so that the crew can't hear. I feel two hands wrap around my arms and pull them away from my body, completely exposing me once more the everyone in the room.

"Maylene?" I can hear Usopp asking from the other side of the door. "Everything alright in there?" I glare at the man who just smirked and held a finger to his lips. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just saw a stag beetle." As soon as the words left my lips, I braced for impact. The door busts open and Luffy comes in with a swinging punch straight at the men who held me down. I covered myself quickly, but I already felt a towel coming around my shoulders.

"Are you alright?" He immediately asks. I nod and pull the towel around my body before tucking it in like a strapless dress.

"Glad you remembered the code," I remark. "For a minute I was worried you'd forget and come looking for an actual bug." He smiles wide at me before turning serious at the intruder. 

"Where's the rest of the crew?" He asks, knowing I knew this would happen.

"Momoo saw you guys and bolted, taking off with the rest of them before they could come on board," I answer. "I'm actually shocked he got two of his goons on here."

"Alright, you ready?" He winds up his arm and I nod, taking my fighting stance. Without my sword, I'm not incredibly strong, but I'm enough to hold off a threat. I charge forward while matching the speed of Luffy's thrown punch as I narrow in on Caribou. He obviously realizes his dangerous position and frowns right until the collision of both my fist and Luffy's attach to his cheeks. Caribou goes flying and I huff, placing my foot on his cheek and stepping on his face harshly.

"That's what you get for looking at a woman in the bath!" I yell. "Do it again and I might just kill you myself!"

"And that's what you get for peeping on my girlfriend!" Luffy adds in, pressing his foot on the man's lower back and hips. When we finally stop, I look up and smile at Luffy with a raised hand. He smacks his palm against it before laughing alongside me. The rest of the crew rush in and see the two of us standing atop the fallen captain pirate with me in a towel and Luffy still clothed.
