Cathy pushed the doors to the library open. She walked inside and was met with the smell of petrichor and the sound of silence. She loved coming to this library, it was never very busy and she could always get lost in a good book, but that's not what she was here for. Not today, she was here for research.

Cathy scanned the shelves and found almost nothing. She looked through, fiction, non-fiction, and even romance. But there was nothing that suggested she might find what she was looking for.

Cathy sighed, Would it be nice if there was a big red button that said 'push here for information'? Alas, it wasn't that easy. Cathy finally resorted to looking through the children's section, she highly doubted that she would find anything, but she tried to keep an open mind.

The books had colorful covers and worn spines, but one, in particular, caught Cathy's attention. It had a gold cover with the words, 'Gateway's into Other Worlds' written in fine print. Cathy picked it up from its place on the shelf and sat down. She was very skeptical but still opened the book and began to read.
