"Does anyone else wanna share anything?" Snowball asked with a hopeful tone in his voice. He was praying someone could alleviate the tension in the room. When no one stepped forward, he stammered, "Okay... I guess we'll wrap the meeting up here then. Have a good day everyone."
"See ya guys," Duke called as he and Max waved goodbye to the other pets as they all left the apartment. Hopping down the fire escape, Snowball wanted to get home as soon as possible. This meeting was just slightly disturbing and he wanted to find Gary as soon as possible. The old beagle was becoming a thorn in his side. As he hopped down to his apartment, the rabbit couldn't help but notice how some of the other pets were checking their phones. Heck, Pops was even trying to head up the fire escape.
"Hey Snowball!" Leonard yipped, snapping the rabbit out of his thoughts. Calming down from the minor heart attack he had just gotten, Snowball replied coolly, "Good evening Leonard. Look, I know you might have a party planned but I really need to find Gary before he does anything." Following the bunny rabbit into his apartment, the poodle replied, "Nah, I haven't planned anything since Ozone left. But I was wondering if you could tell me more about the big project-"
"Leonard shut up!" Snowball shouted, jumping up and clamping the poodle's mouth shut. Glancing at the open window, the rabbit scolded the dog, "What have I told you about secrecy?!" Rubbing his jaw, Leonard mumbled, "Sorry. But you promised you would tell me more about it. What is it?" Shuffling his foot sheepishly, Snowball answered, "I can't tell you exactly what it is. But let's just say it's big. And it's a secret so don't tell the others, especially Gidget. I don't know how she heard about it but it's supposed to be a surprise."
"Okay. Don't worry Snowball, I won't tell a soul. No one will find out about it," Leonard promised as he followed Snowball deeper into the apartment, leaving the window unattended. Peaking her head up over the windowsill, Trixie grinned and whispered, "I knew it, he does have something." Delighted, the Pomeranian dashed away to go tell Gary the good news.
