Charging into the warehouse ahead of the rest, Gidget kicked the door down. Quite literally as it was knocked off its hinges. Rolling head over heels in a series of somersaults, the fluffy white Pomeranian was back on her paws in seconds. Tearing through the halls, she saw a shadow on a wall. It was no doubt the beagle known as Gary. Gritting her teeth, she gave chase. Barely aware of her feet touching the ground, she noticed that she was gaining. It wouldn't be long until she caught him-

CRASH!

The moment Gidget rounded a corner that Gary had taken she was instantly whacked on the head by something very hard. Collapsing on the concrete floor, she groaned as she put a paw to her forehead. There was definitely a bump there. Hearing footsteps coming closer to where she was sprawled out, dazed, on the ground, the Pomeranian blinked her sky blue eyes to adjust them as she lifted her head weakly.

"This is all too easy..." Gary's voice could be heard. Squinting, Gidget saw that he was holding a shovel. That was most likely what he had used to hit her on the head. There was someone standing next to the old beagle but the fluffy white Pomeranian could barely see them due to the dim lighting of the room. The mystery figure pointed out, "You should go before they come. I can already hear them getting closer."

"Good idea. But first..." Gary remarked quietly but he never finished his sentence as he hoisted the shovel above his head and brought down on Gidget's, knocking her out cold...
