Blinking her sky blue eyes open, Gidget sat up quietly. Her head was pounding from where she had been hit. Whimpering, she reached up with one paw and rubbed the sore spot as she looked around. Her vision was blurry at first but eventually it cleared up. The Pomeranian had no idea where she was but she did know one thing.

She was in a cage.

"Look who finally woke up. Did you have a good rest?" a voice called out from beyond the bars of the cage. A moment later, Gary stepped out of the shadows. He grinned while Gidget snarled at him. Her fur bristling with anger, the fluffy white Pomeranian growled, "Whatever plan you have, it won't work. My friends will find me and come to rescue me."

"I'm pretty sure they will but tell me Gidget," Gary replied as he padded over to a computer and started typing something away. Looking over at his prisoner, the old beagle raised an eyebrow as he asked, "How will they find and rescue you when they think that you're with them?" His words baffling her, Gidget frowned slightly as she demanded, "What in the world are you talking about?"

"None of your business right now. We have other matters to discuss," Gary answered. Finished with what he was doing on the computer, he grabbed a notepad and pencil. Gidget backed up as the old beagle approached the cage. Sitting down, he looked up at the fluffy white Pomeranian and ordered firmly, "Tell me everything you know about Snowball's latest invention."
