Eyes narrowing to thin slits, Tiberius hissed threateningly while his feathers bristled in agitation and anger. His talons even left scratches on the wooden floor as he met Gidget's gaze. The fluffy white Pomeranian, obviously startled, backed away quickly from the old red tailed hawk. Max and Chloe stayed by her side while Ozone actually attempted to pull the hawk away. However, he also seemed irritated by something and his ears were pinned back. Mel ended up getting whipped in the face several times by his swishing tail. Getting his girlfriend a safe distance away, Max barked, "What the heck is going on here?!"

"Tiny Dog, I think you should direct that question towards those two," Snowball piped up, jabbing his little thumb towards Ozone and Tiberius, both who were now letting out low growls and hisses. Neither of them looked very pleased. Trembling just a little bit as she watched the pair, Gidget turned to look at her boyfriend as she whimpered, "Is this because I attacked them or something?" Shaking his head as he nuzzled her lovingly, Max reassured her, "No, there is no way at all that this was your fault. Don't for one second think that you caused this."

"Well, I don't know about you guys but I don't think we're gonna get any explanations for a little bit," Chloe announced, looking over at the window with Pops and Norman by her side. Raising one eyebrow in question while Sweetpea chirped softly on top of his head, Duke asked, "What do you mean?" Pointing at the window with her striped tail, Chloe answered, "The freak of nature and the predatory bird had just left."

"Chloe, could you at least be nice to other people for once in your life?" Leonard questioned, rubbing his forehead.

"Maybe it's for the best right now," Snowball murmured. Looking over at Max and Gidget, the white rabbit continued, "Just let them cool down for a few minutes and it'll all just breeze over their heads. Everything is gonna be fine." Sighing softly, Max prayed his friend was correct as he nuzzled his girlfriend lovingly, trying his best to comfort her. Pressed up against him, a slight and menace looking smile crept along Gidget's face as she gazed out the window and beyond the tops of the surrounding apartment buildings.
