"Go fish Mel," Buddy declared after glancing down at what he had in his paws. The pug sighed quietly. Once again, his quest to find some kings had ended in failure. He just needed one more to get a full set. While he drew a card from the pile, Chloe smirked evilly as she boldly asked, "Mel, have any kings?"

"That was cold Chloe. Keep up the good work," Snowball remarked, giving the tabby cat a thumbs up. Placing down her set of four kings, Chloe waved it off like it was nothing. Mel, in the meantime, had his head on the table while a pool made by his tears grew bigger by the second. Buddy quietly reached over and patted the pug on the back.

"Hey, look who's back!" Duke pointed out, looking up briefly from his cards. Everyone looked over at the window just as Max and Gidget returned from their date. Two days had passed since the gang had tried to catch Gary. Luckily, the Pomeranian was making a swift recovery from the blackout she had gotten thanks to the old beagle. Raising one eyebrow, Max asked, "You guys are still playing cards?"

"Yeah, it's fun. Better than whatever they're playing," Buddy added as he gestured towards where Norman and Tiberius were playing chess. Looking up with a confused look on his face, Norman squeaked, "Chess is fun!" Over on the couch, Pops was trying to read a book while Leonard and Sweetpea were watching YouTube videos. Ozone woke up from a nap.

"I got an idea of something we can do!" Gidget barked, wagging her tail, "How about Snowball shows us what he's been working on?"
