I walked back to the hospitality trying to avoid the busyness of the paddock, as I went inside my dads assistant approached me. "Miss Wolff these arrived for you" the assistant said as he handed me a beautiful bouquet of white roses. I couldn't help but smile, I instantly knew that they were from Charles without even having to look at the card which simply had a C on it. Id only mentioned a couple of days ago that they were my favourite flowers, I couldn't believe that he had actually remembered and sent me some. As I was looking at the roses my dad walked over to me. "It's been a while since I've seen that smile, should I be worried" he chuckled as he nudged me and laughed. "You should go and thank Charles" what he said completely threw me how would he know they were from Charles. I just smiled at him and ignored his comment. Everyone seemed to have the impression that there was more then just friendship between me and Charles but no one seemed to be bothered by it. It was so different with Max from the go everyone had something to say.
I went to find Charles to say thank you, he'd just finished in the media pen and had a gleaming smile on his face that just seemed to get even bigger when he saw me. He said something to his PR manager who nodded and swiftly walked away. "Did you like the flowers" he asked as he came towards me. I couldn't help but blush and smile "I did thank you Charles" Charles grabbed my hand and pulled me down the side of one of the hospitalities. "What are you doing" I was completely baffled and had no idea what was going on. "This" he replied and before I knew it his lips were against mine, the kiss was soft and gentle like before. As he moved away I instinctively pulled him back in again making him smile against my lips before kissing me again. I don't even know why I did it I really had meant what I said about not being ready to get involved with anybody but something about it also felt right. I just hoped I wouldn't regret it further down the line. "Fly to the next race with me?" I didn't reply I just smiled and nodded.
